Designer Consigner

Designer Consigner is a lovely little shop featuring everything you’d want in a consignment store. It is not a teenie bopper ‘mall re-​run’ store. The items are interesting, of good quality, clean, and prices are reasonable. I also appreciate the aggressive mark downs — you can score some awesome deals! Additionally, they have a rewards program. As with all consignment stores, you don’t always find something, but I have the most consistent luck at Designer Consigner!

My two stars are based more on customer service than the actual store. I’ve been in three times within the past three weeks and only once was greeted as I entered the store. The other two times I was ignored. And I was the only customer in the store.
Their inventory is nice — a lot of higher end names and I thought their prices were good, but I take issue when I make an effort to shop locally and am ignored. Not certain whether I’ll be in again.

Designer Consigner is a cool little boutique featuring high-​end, name-​brand women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories. The customer service is great — during a visit last week, I was chatted up by a friendly blond woman who I believe is the owner. She answered all of my irritating questions and managed to be helpful without a hint of the overly suggestive saleswomen you’d find in a similar store.
While the selection is much smaller than what’s available at Mother & Child, the consignment store down the street, you’ll find nicer, more elegant items here. Especially for older women seeking dresses, suits, or more formal ladies wear. And SHOES — Designer Consigner’s shoe collection is twice as big as what’s on offer at M&C. The prices are reasonable — I found a pair of nice Ann Taylor khakis for $ 18.50 and a top from Cache for around $ 15.00. While the store is small, it still offers amazing clothing at discount prices. I’ll be back here for sure.

This store is now located at 141 Route 101A in Heritage Plaza and has wonderful items for sale. They range from the simple to the extravagant. There is something for everyone and the owner is great. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a deal!!!
