Bite Me Please

I had the pleasure of trying one of this mobile food cart’s creations at Hartford’s Hodge Podge early this afternoon. As grilled cheese trucks are all the rage now, (oh hey Caseus, Whey Station & Little Sister) I was surprised to see a MA based business at HP rather than one of CT’s own melty mobiles.
Regardless, Bite Me Please sure delivered — I wolfed down my sandwich & cup of tomato soup in mere moments. Menu highlights included a blueberry goat cheese, honey & vanilla mixture on a grilled croissant and the monterrey jack & crab sandwich — but my brie, bleu and pear on a croissant surely hit the spot. I worked the event (6 hours in chilly, windy November weather), and I couldn’t have asked for anything more than a gourmet grilled cheese and cup of soup.
Except for poutine and cupcakes… but luckily Hodge Podge had those too!
