Salt & Pretzel has literally the best gourmet food in Ames and great craft beers. You need to order their specials. The specials will always amaze you, but they are always changing so you have to frequent this business. The Beer: –My Favorite Topic –I enjoy trying unique beers(My goal is to find the best beer ever and they have an apparent 100 rated beer, which I need to try it’s a Blueberry Porter named Evil Twin.) Perks To The Evil Twin: 1) Blueberry Porters are my favorite beer 2) I am a twin… likely the evil one Unique beers I have tried at Salt & Pretzel: — Omnipollo — Nautilus, which is a larger beer I would give it a 8.8÷10 –Stillwater –Dugges Syrligt, which is a smaller beer I would give it a 8.6÷10 Both these beers are sour’s: –If you love blueberry beers — definitely try the Nautilus. –If you like really sour beer, I highly recommend the Dugges Syrligt. It is also a great place for young professionals like myself to hang out in Ames over lunch or evenings.

Since Unilocal won’t update the title of the place, I’m leaving this review as a helpful note. This is NOT the retail establishment for Salt & Pretzel Co. There is another Unilocal listing for their retail café. This is their wholesale office and bakery. You can pick up pre-ordered wholesale treats here, but you won’t be able to stop in and have a coffee or pretzel. Go to their café in North Ames for that.
