This is one of my new favorite places in Ames. I really like the ham sandwich. The hot BBQ is great. And the free parking makes it a very convenient stop. But the dust bunnies on the ceiling fans and ceiling beams are gross. The girlfriend won’t eat there because of it. If the dining area is neglected for that long, it makes you wonder about the kitchen.

What is it about Ames that you can’t get a pulled pork sandwich? Bland meat, bad sauce. More or less the same as Hickory Park without the ambiance.
