I love sushi but had never heard of a sushi burrito before. I finally gave it a try and really loved it. I gave them five stars because I believe they offer great quality for the price. Often inexpensive sushi is mostly rice but not here. The ingredients were delicious and plentiful. Ihad the volcano roll and loved it. It filled me up and I am sure to go back.

Great big sushi rolls like I used to get in Australia. They’re fresh and taste great. Decorating is interesting.

Was very skeptical of this place upon entering and looking at the menu. I was a little unsure how I felt about sushi burritos, but I ordered the most popular volcano burrito and it was actually really good! It was a little messy, slightly difficult to eat, but overall I enjoyed it. Soy sauce was a must.

I LOVECHIBASUSHI! I have a food allergy to certain things and they are extremely careful and take care in when preparing my burrito.

This is some great food. The quality is amazing, and the employee’s are super nice. Every time I leave I feel good about what I’ve eaten, vs many fast-food places where I regret my decisions half-way through the meal. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

I am not a big sushi guy, but I love veggie rolls. This place makes a DELICIOUS roll! They call them«sushi burritos» but they don’t have like a tortilla or anything, they are just a burrito-sized sushi roll. Eating sushi like a burrito took some getting used to, but it had so much flavor, savory sauces… just amazing.

This place is great. Yes, it is known for its giant sushi burritos and they are tasty. If you are a fried sushi guy like me, get the Volcano. It is pure delight.

Just moved from Hawaii and was looking for a good sushi fix. This does the job perfectly. I got the Spicy Tuna and it was delicious. Tried the Spicy Tuna, Miso soup, edamame, and pot stickers everything was good. Pros: Sushi was fresh and delicious. Spicy Tuna was spicy, not too spicy though Portions were large Cons. The ginger/wasabi cup was a little light on the wasabi for me. I didn’t realize it till I got home. Was a little pricey.

Sushi burritos are awesome, and I was super excited to have one so close to where I live! This place is definitely worth going to once, but it’s one of those places that you forget about because it doesn’t really stand out in your mind. Here’s why; all of the rolls pretty much taste the same(there are little differences, but for the most part they’re the same), and almost all of them have imitation crab which they use as a «filler». The restaurant is always clean, but not really anything special as far as atmosphere goes. I will say that the staff is super friendly and nice!

Surprisingly delightful! I love traditional sushi so I was a little wary of a sushi burrito but Chiba has sold me on it. I always get the Veggie Mama with seaweed salad, tempura sweet potato and kobocha(a type of squash), tofu, avocado, tomato, and their special sauce. It’s a really great combination of tastes and textures. For those needing gluten free– none of the rolls are completely but they’re good at modifying so it can be. My sister always gets the Lemon Land or Yum Yum and leaves off the eel sauce and crab salad. Each roll is giant so I’ve never had to get more than one to feel full. The service is great and super fast. The restaurant is cute and clean.

Food is 8 out of 10 Service is 8 out of 10 Atmosphere is 7 out of 10 This place is good. The sushi comes out like little burritos. So it looks funny. But it tastes good. I really enjoy the Vegas and Volcano roles. It can be hard to eat just one but two is too much. At least for my appetite. And the staff there is really nice. Seems like a well run family business. Oh and the décor is, well, fun. They use the theme of the shamrock. Maybe that means something in their specific Asian culture. But I always think of the Irish with the Shamrock. Anyways it’s odd but fun.

Pretty good sushi. Very unique in they way they prepare their«sushi burrito». Good size portion, decent price for sushi. I ordered the Vegas burrito. Yum. I would definitely recommend this place if you are a sushi lover. Even for«new» sushi fans.

I have to admit it. I’m a fan of Sushi. The problem is that Sushi is now super popular and super easy to get so, so, wrong. When I was driving buy the restaurant, I saw that they had burrito sushi rolls. I COULDNOT wrap my head around this concept. So I decided to check it out for lunch. The staff, greeted me as I walked in. I was asked what I would like and I picked the Lemon Land, and since I was worried that wouldn’t fill me, I ordered a side of seaweed salad. Spoiler: I didn’t need the seaweed salad. These rolls are HUGE! They aren’t all rice, which is nice to boot. You can tell the chefs take pride in making a good meal, and it showed. I’m happy to say that Chiba Sushi does Sushi pretty well. I definitely have this place on my list for when I next visit American Fork

I’ve been wanting to try out a sushi burrito for a long time now. As a lover of sushi and burritos, this sounded like a great idea. Apparently I’m not the only one that thinks this as a ton of these places have opened up lately in the state. We walked in and had a couple of people in front of us. The line moved quickly and it was time to order. The menu has around 12 different burritos you can pick from, or if you’re feeling boring you can go with various bento boxes. I had a hard time deciding on my burrito because so many of them looked so good. I ended up getting a 49er, which contains spicy tuna, crab, carrots, crunch(I have no idea what that is), avocado, and some spicy sauces. They mentioned that the Volcano is the most popular, and my girlfriend ended up ordering the Rising Up. The selection is pretty varied, with fried stuff, tuna, raw salmon, tempura chicken, beef, and other things. Even the pickiest eater should be able to find a roll that they will be okay with… and if they really can’t, get them a bento box. We took a seat and waited for the food for about 6 or 7 minutes. Once it came out it looked great. I took a bite and was happy. It was the perfect amount of spicy for me. I put a little Sriracha and soy sauce on it and ate it up in no time. Everything was good, fresh, and it really was like eating a giant piece of sushi in burrito form. I should note, as people have asked, the burrito is NOT wrapped in a tortilla, it’s wrapped in the same seaweed wrap that your usual sushi is wrapped in. After eating half of mine, I tried some of my girlfriends and was impressed as well. If you want something a little less exciting, and without seafood of any kind, go with the Rising Up. Overall it was a great meal. They’ve got a good selection that will appeal to the sushi snob who always compares American sushi to the kind they had in Japan, to the sushi hater who can’t bear the thought of raw seafood, to the American sushi eater who loves sushi so much but has never actually had real sushi. It’s a great place and I’m excited to try some more rolls!

Definitely a five star sushi joint. You get big rolls with a good flavor and high quality ingredients, but you don’t pay for the trendy and flashy sushi atmosphere that is so common in Utah. Don’t try to eat this in your car. I think we will see more people try to copy this business model.

Knowing I was pay about $ 9 for about 2 – 3 rolls worth of sushi, I expected poor quality, but these sushi burritos are great! high quality. I got a lemon landing and I loved the salmon and lemon combo. The staff was friendly, and they have a loyalty program. He let me use my sister and her friend’s purchases on my loyalty buys, which was cool! Nothing special as far as interior or exterior, but for what you are paying, it’s a great deal and pretty good food!

I’m always on the lookout for new sushi places to try, so when I saw Chiba, and what they specialized in, I knew I had to try it. The whole concept of a Sushi Burrito almost seems blasphemous as sushi is meant to be eaten slowly… savored, and eaten using chopsticks, but on second thought… this is ‘Murica. I don’t need no stinking chopsticks! Gimme m’damn Sushi Burrito! Really impressed with the presentation and quality of the sushi. You might expect it to be sub-par, but no… this place is legit! I honestly can’t wait to go back. The curry burrito is one of the best sushi combinations I’ve ever had! Great menu, and friendly staff make this a great place to go grab some lunch.

What is a sushi burrito, one might ask? Well, turns out it’s a really really great big hand roll, approximately. «Burrito sized, hand held sushi» the sign tells us. They also have salads, bento combos(which sounded fantastic and I must try one asap) and appetizer type of items. So how is a sushi burrito? Quite tasty, and a cool idea. And, really surprisingly decent value. It’s nothing too fancy, just somewhat like homemade sushi that you put together in your kitchen. You order it and pay, then they bring it out to you. Sort of like Yoshi’s my favorite in SLC. These portions are about 3 – 4 generous hand roll size. We tried flaming lips and jade, 6 and 13, which were quite similar. Flaming lips was tempura which I think was a better fit to this burrito idea. It had sweet eel-sauce, spicy mayo, cream cheese, avocado, cucumber, crab stick, and some slight tobikko. The difference on the jade was non tempura and also had cooked tempura red snapper inside, no tobikko. All in all, very solid. I think they could make a mobile/truck version!
