An Audi dealer not too far from Autofirme gave me the run around.
I brought my car to Autofirme and Greg was fanstastic.
A true mechanic with a passion for quality. Fixed my A8 seven years ago and the engine has been perfect ever since.

Don’t be fooled by the small operation in a small town. Greg, the owner of Autofirme is a fantastic mechanic.
He took in my Audi A3 with a problem Koni suspension and replaced it with an H&R coilover that he recommended. Greg set the spring height and corner weighted the car so that it performs perfectly both on the road and on the track. I’m absolutely thrilled.
What a difference in the quality and level of service I received from Greg vs. the performance shop in Stamford who put the first Koni system in (what a nightmare.)
If you have an Audi that needs performance upgrades or has a challanging issue, make Autofirme your first stop — you’ll probably end up there anyway.

You own an Audi? Congratulations!
Eventually you will come to know Greg Haymann, the Swiss trained mechanic who operates on your baby with a neatly laid out tray of tools, latex gloves, and classical music playing softly overhead (he also plays the french horn, but of course not while he’s working).
People from all over the east coast (and some from further away) travel to benefit from his skills, so don’t bitch about how far it is from the city. He’ll even drive you to the train if you ask nicely.
And don’t bug him for your car, it will be ready when it’s ready.
Trust me, it’s worth the wait.

PS — he works on other brands as well, but Audis are by far his specialty.
