What a terrible experience, we purchased an Amazon Local deal to have the house’s duct systems cleaned up for $ 39. This was our experience:
Timeliness
The field employee arrived late, not a very good first impression however one understands that time delays sometimes are inevitable.
Presentation
The stench of cigarette on the person who came to do the job trailed after him. It was beyond uncomfortable trying to talk to him with that stench all about him and show him around where all the different components were.
Cleanliness
I had just cleaned the floors of my house last night, after this gentleman was done my floors were a complete mess. He didn’t bother at the very least about dragging dirt with his dirty shoes & left messy footprints all over my house.
Pressure to Buy
I must have told him 10 times that I would evaluate his quote for further services and get back to him. He kept insisting until I told him I could no longer discuss the matter with him because I had to get back to work. He backed off after that however just before leaving returned to offer me an «under the table» cash deal because he just didn’t want my system to fail on me. Again I said «no thank you» and he persisted to pressure me to buy. I had to forcefully tell him yet again that I was not ready to make that commitment yet.
Overall
Would i recommend this to a friend? Absolutely not! Even if i decide to purchase the services they will certainly be via a different provider.
