Here’s the straight dope: I’m rating for the value proposition at Maple Glen. They sell good local pizza. It’s also abnormally expensive when you buy by the slice. They say slices are $ 3 to $ 4.50. Most of the ones you’ll see in their case will cost at least $ 3.50 since they don’t seem to make a point of keeping plainer varieties on hand. If the considerable premium is worth it to you, you’ll do well ordering here. If not, your money will go farther elsewhere.

Although the pizza was good(not great), it cost $ 16 for two plain pieces and two veggie, so that would mean it’s $ 4 a slice! What the what!!! Holy moly, no thank you.

Pizza is fabulous. Love the selection of slices you can get. We have eaten here as a family many nights and have gotten take out. Negative: cost. The pizza is very expensive and they only accept cash. Not a place you can go to last minute without hitting an ATM.

I have always loved the taco pizza which recently has become soggy with you so stuff on it. For $ 25 I don’t want soggy pizza ., it was always crispy and fresh around six months ago but now I won’t order again which stinks bc I love taco pizza. Guess I’ll find another one

Mediocre pizza at best! I’d rather have an Ellios pizza! The prices are way too high for what they are serving. Get it together guys!

Decent pizza for the suburbs. I said decent. Their Jalapeño Poppers are cream cheese filled. Not cheddar. They lie!!!

A few years ago I ordered 2 large traditional plain pizzas for takeout and was shocked at the $ 27 bill. This past month I stopped by for a large plain pizza and an order of fries. OMG $ 20($ 16 for the pizza)! You gotta be kidding me. The prices are unreasonable for pizza. This is not center city Phila.

It’s good pizza and I never have had a bad order. My only complaint is that they don’t take credit card. I don’t carry cash and it’s really a pain to have to stop at the atm. Change your policy please!

Went in around 1130 so no cute staff just old grumpy man who make you fell unwelcome. Pizza was good, place clean, prices marked up, cash only business. They even marked up the chips from what is printed on the bag.

I am not sure why there are so many one stars. Without a doubt this is the best pizza in the area. Sauce is perfect, not sweet. Crust is crunchy, cheese is top notch. Awesome. The only other pizza I love is from NYC. Been going here for years still drive from Lansdale to Maple Glen just for the pizza. Cant find anything in Blue Bell, Fort Washington, Norristown, Montgomeryville that comes even close. Oh and the people there are sooo nice. Haters should go there on any weekend night… if its bad I don’t know why the line wraps around the building.

This is my pizza place of choice at lunchtime during the work week. Even though the line gets long, the staff is good at managing the flow so that customers don’t wait more than 10 minutes. The pizza slices are large and are not served so hot that they burn your tongue(good for inhaling as you run back to work). All in all, this is one of Philadelphia Best Pizza shops and I am here at least twice a week.

Decent food, cute counter help but way too costly. Another cash only business that likely is under reporting their dollars.

Went here for a quick lunch. Pizza was excellent. These guys know how to make a pizza. They used a real consistent bread flour that was crunchy and held its form when you held the slices. I would come back again. The décor, layout, front fasade and bathrooms need to be upgraded.

Maple Glen Pizza is one of my favorite places to eat. I don’t mind paying extra because the food actually tastes the way I want it to compared Spatola’s Pizza or Gio’s. Its never burned or anything else. The owner and the rest of the staff is always extremely nice to me when I come in as well which brings me back every time over any pizza place in the area.

Buyer Beware! My friends and co-workers in the past year have become very discouraged about Maple Glen Pizza. We like to frequent the local businesses however, they have a menu that they give out on the counter and one posted on the website which have prices listed. However, when you go to pick up your food the charge is much more than expected. The owner then explains that they have the wrong prices and the one on the board above is what the prices are. We have been charged different prices for the same order 3 – 4 different times. When you question the owner about this he gets very arrogant and rude. He actually told one of my co-workers to never return to his establishment and shouted profanities to her as she was leaving. We will NEVER use this place for any of our orders EVER again. Also, in this day and age, why are they only accepting cash? Things that make you go hmmmm…

I go to Maple Glen Pizza a lot and I am very satisfied with it. I think the array of different types of pizza is amazing and I love how you can get just one slice or two of any pizza of your choice. I have never had a problem with the food. Sometimes the restaurant and tables aren’t as clean as I would like them to be, but I think the food makes up for that. The service was okay. Sometimes the people are rude but most of the time they are very nice and happy. Overall, I would definitely recommend Maple Glen Pizza.

So I wrote an update MONTHSAGO, but apparently it was flagged because it was«too sensitive and honest.» I’ll just say go to Gio’s. Better service, and better pizza PERIOD.

Just went to Maple Glen Pizza. Almost $ 16 for a plain pizza with no toppings. Are you kidding me??? What a joke. Cash only??! What a joke. Sorry, the pizzas not good enough to charge $ 16. And definitely not worth it enough to go to the ATM/bank. I’m done with this place.

Take-out pizzas. Thick, chewy, expensive, bland, yuck. None of us finished our pizza, we threw it out.
