I’ve been going to this place for years, I started when it was in the tiny building a few doors down. I went again today and had the Sushi Mori 10 piece sushi dinner with Sake. The food was just wonderful and the service was impeccible. I’ve never had a bad experience at this restaurant. I have a difficult time believing that anyone could be disappointed by going there.

If you live in Texas and think that this good sushi… Then I feel sorry for you. Travel the world and you’ll soon find out what good sushi is. The white fish was not white on the roll that was ordered. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Love this place!!! I go here all the time and I have yet to be unsatisfied with anything I order. If you love sushi this is definitely the place to go. They have a huge selection and some options I’ve never seen anywhere else. My must have go to is their monkey ball sushi.

Wow fantastic food everytime! Love their Philadelphia Rolls. You should try the Dishwasher roll — it’s always great. The egg rolls are tasty and the sashimi appetizer is fresh and good. Service is always fast and good. You never have to wait.

This place is completely hit-or-miss…I’ve had really good sushi here and really really awful sushi(same roll, different occasions). It’s hard to know what you’ll get. :/But the staff is always friendly so it’s still worth a shot from time to time. P. S. Never get the katsudon.

I’ve been coming here for years & it’s always fresh & simply wonderful! I’ve also traveled & had sushi from all over the world & can say beyond a doubt that Steve, Nikki & their crew know what they’re doing. Yes, one can get a wonderful selection of great, fresh sushi/sashimi in Amarillo, TX. Plus, their cooked menu items are really tasty too!

My second favorite sushi place in Amarillo. Nice, fresh fish, good service and can handle a smaller group. Skip the fancier and pricier sushi places in town and come to a place that is all about the food.

My mom and I decided to have dinner here after a long drive from Flagstaff. The staff are very friendly. We order two glasses of Chardonnay(wine was okay), summer rolls and the 911 roll. The summer rolls and sushi were delicious. Fresh & good quality fish. We’ll definitely be back if we’re ever in the area.

I was in Amarillo on business for a few days. I stopped in for sushi one night. The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The Thai/Lao food looked good so I went back the next night. It was amazing! I ordered medium spice and it was perfect for my taste. The perfect blend of spice and food flavors. I finished off the meal with some sweet tapioca rice and ice cream. This is my go to spot whenever I am passing through Amarillo.

I liked it better at the old location. Service is off and on. Food is good though. Haven’t been there in awhile.

Good quality sushi. Great service. Had the New Orleans and 911 rolls. Both were very good. They serve cold saki(yay!) and the menu is vast. Spacious seating area. Great for groups and casual business get-togethers. Fine for families.

The drinks always have an off taste to them, however their monkey balls are freakin’ awesome! I come here just to order the monkey balls, the other sushis are mediocre and the rest of the thai items are okay. If you’re looking for thai food then I’d go to Thai House or Bangkok instead.

Best sushi in amarillo. The customer service and atmosphere is lacking but they can make some great sushi! Love the dishwasher!

This is our favorite restaurant in Amarillo. Their menu is enormous but the quality of the food doesn’t suffer for it. The atmosphere is quirky and fun, the service is always prompt and polite, and the food is great.

My favorite sushi place in town. Grr. The phone message says they are open Monday thru Saturday, but they’re NOT! They are closed Mondays. :(. Can’t get my sushi fix.

Great place. Always a great casual atmosphere. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and sincere. They mean the smile that they give you. Food is awesome and delicious as well and great portions. Good value for my money. Huge selection of sushi. I’d choose youngs over rain any day!

Young’s has above average sushi, with close to 100 different rolls. The quality of the fish isn’t as good as Kabuki’s, but is still pretty fresh. The Thai dishes are great, the yellow, green and red curry are my favorites. Young’s really suffers from terrible service. I’ve eaten there about 20 times and have never received great service. Give it a shot if you’re traveling through town and have some time to kill. Don’t expect good service though.

Great quick lunch downtown — they’re usually pretty speedy in terms of service. I always order sushi and I’ve always been pleased and enjoyed my lunch. My must-have is the spicy tuna roll and the tuna is always fresh… believe me, you can tell when tuna is past its prime. I always look forward to my next Young’s visit.
