The safety is terrible. I almost fell out of the mousetrap. The safety bar came up and I had wrap my arms around it to stay on.

This was a nice date night event. The lines were long to get into the park because we arrived as it was opening but the park did not feel crowded. We did a spectator pass because we didnt think we would do much of the smaller rides that are meant for kids. I think that the park offers rides for everyone and if one only loves big rollercoasters they even have one big one and a couple good size ones. Those will cost an extra 1.50−3.00 to ride. Next time I go I may get a unlimited bracelet and do all the spiny rides and enjoy funnel cake or cheese fries.

As long as you set your expectations correctly, this is a decent carnival-style amusement park. The best rides cost extra money. The entry fee is nearly the cost of a ticket at Six Flags(when you buy that with a discount). I like that there are no ridiculous wait lines. You can hop ride to ride and be done in about an hour. It’s a local amusement park with lots of old rides brought in from other cities. Given this is a city of 200,000 — it’s not bad at all.

If your local«Six Flags» is your steady girlfriend, Wonderland is that crazy chick you know. You know what I mean. Sure, the drops aren’t as tall, and the park isn’t as prestigious, but the thrills are still pretty damn satisfying and ample. In fact, as it turns out, you can do a LOT more at Wonderland than you could do at your local six flags, due to the reduced crowd level. Don’t get me wrong. The rides are pretty awesome. Don’t be fooled by the tame look – these rides will screw you up. And, you’ll have experiences here that I’ve never really seen at any other major theme park. The Cyclone dates back to the 60s and packs a series of punches that you won’t be expecting. Anyhow, definitely worth the trip… check it out if you get the chance!
