One of my favorite places to eat in Amarillo! They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we live right across the street! We have trekked through snow just to eat here! Their food may take a while, but it’s worth it! Lots of good choices on their menu! My BF likes their bbq chicken strip sandwich. He gets one every time we go there! I like their bacon cheeseburgers, and their Whatachicken is good too!

Love me some What-A-Burger! Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich or the Patty Melt are my favorites. Service here is very friendly for fast food and they have never messed up an order here for me and we go after the bars get out when they are busy and no one is speaking clearly lol.

Whataburger is one of the fast food joints I eat at the most. It’s not the best but I always end up eating here. I always get the # 1 combo and it does the job. The fries are not bad. The one compliant is why is the is the milkshake machine always down at night.

Amazingly, it was open the night of Thanksgiving Day as so few places in Amarillo were. Ordered the A-1 Thick’n’hearty Whatameal. Someone in the kitchen had given it a whole lotta love — compressed it after it was wrapped — and the result was an inedible gummy bun. I ended up taking a knife and fork to the innards after removing the bun putty. Distractions included the cashier’s girlfriend prancing around the place as if she owned it. Even worse — her big olé’ momma was there too glaring at everybody who came in or out. But what else could you expect in Amarillo on a holiday night? Oh, the fries were OK as long as they were hot.
