Waffle House

There in a reason there are hardly ever any cars in the lot. They are friendly enough, but there are better places to eat in Amarillo. Go somewhere where they won’t mess up your order and have cleaned that week. If you are passing thru, just keep driving.

Do you like bugs? How about cooked bugs, specifically ROACHES… in your food? If so, I highly recommend the hash browns at the Waffle House on Hollywood Road. After finishing about half of my breakfast, I was lucky enough to discover one on the bottom of my plate. Oh well, the manager was kind enough to deduct a whopping 50% of our bill when the rest of the table was reluctant to finish their breakfast. Apparently, its corporate policy to offer a «discount» when your food is contaminated with vile, disgusting COCKROACHES. And if you suggest that you are unwilling to pay for the pleasure of possibly EATING ROACHES, you will be asked to leave. Obviously, Waffle House is not the most sterile environment, but I’ve always enjoyed the greasy goodness of their hash browns, smothered with cheese and more recently chunked with COCKROACHES.
