Best place in Amarillo! Friendly staff & delicious food and drinks. I will definitely be returning!

Had to stop here as the family requested so I decided to give this place another try. After reading previous reviews, I was very cautious about this location. As we were walking to our table I saw a ground full of peanut cases, cucumbers and red onions. Our table was not set very neatly and the floor had no attention from the staff. For my drink I ordered strawberry lemonade and I was asked if wanted it sweet or «unsweet.» I was very confused on how to reply, but she finally realized I said lemonade not tea. I decided the hamburger was a good choice in order to be safe. Looked good on the picture and nobody said anything bad about it review wise. About an hour later, all the food came out. The portions of our food were small and the food didn’t look too good. The burger had absolutely no resemblance to the picture and my whole plate was overly salty. This isn’t the most salty food I’ve had, but there is no doubt that it was overpowering. The burger quality was not very good. The bun was extremely greasy and salty, while the patty was small, salty, overcooked and really didn’t taste good. Even the fries were too salty to be edible. I decided to return the burger for a refund, but the rest of my family had steak or salmon for their dinner. I give two stars for the half of the staff that was kind and the edibility of the other food. My summary; overpriced tolerable food and I would not come back.

I was there on 01-​03-​2016. The bread plates were dirty. The place is filthy ! They really need to close the restaurant for a few days and clean it from top to bottom.
Our waiter was nice but I think he was high on something. He seemed not to really be aware of what was going on. The food was fine but after we ate I put my napkin wadded up on the table and a roach fell from who knows where and landed on it. It was a german roach. It landed on its back. I don’t know if it was alive or dead because I jumped out of the booth as fast as I could. We gave the roach in the napkin to our waiter. He apologized and said the manager would be out to talk to us. She never came !! We ended up just paying the bill and leaving. Will NEVER go back. Ever.

Well what can you say… nothing would be best however my advice is stay away… far away from Logan’s as you can. Ordered 16oz Ribeye med rare. After 2 bites the steak turned rare so ¾s of the steak was cooked wrong how do you do that? The prickly pare margarita tasted like simple syrup with alcohol and a splash of grenadine for a pale pink color way way too sweet. Service was adequate but nothing sensational. Always expect more when your dropping 20.00 a plate but rarely ever see it in this town. Oh and it wasn’t busy.

After asking for a specific server, they sat us with Billy.. Not our choice.
He appeared to be new and unsure. Right then we should’ve left.

Our food came out incorrectly with no mgr to be seen even after asking for one. It was one catastrophe after another.
The ending of the night? The Check! — We had ordered Absolut and charged (w/​of being asked/​informed) for Grey Goose … maybe it would’ve been ok if it HAD actually been Goose poured.
Told server of error, he admitted fault but not to fix it. Then we asked for mgr. She came out already aware of the situation.. again admitting we should’ve been told. (For the drinks we had it was a $ 25 increase– and again Goose was not what we rcvd) The mgr had no care in the world. Did not offer to fix the check or anything. We had to ask, stating we were never told etc.
If she had been present at any time during our meal to follow up on the incorrectly cooked steaks or the apps made incorrectly. … we might have overlooked the drinks, but that’s not the case.
There are far better steak restaurants in this town now that Longhorn is here. It’s a shame that this was our last experience at the roadhouse.

Ordered potato skins no onions came out with onions. They just picked them off sprinkled more cheese on top and brought it back out. Baked potato many hours old. Steak not great quality. Just not a good meal. Spent over $ 100 family of 5 not worth it. Nicest thing was the girls at the front door were friendly

Not good tonight. Waited at least 45 mins for food and when it got here it wasn’t very hot. Ordered corn and finished my meal before it came. AND being a Monday night it was dead so that wasn’t it!

The thing about an overheated economy with all kinds of new restaurants & hotels being built all at once is that it’s hard to get any decent people to work at these places. Logans last note, not real busy. I sat at the bar, the beer was brought to me overflowing the glass, no attempt to wipe it up, half foam. Wait person was in a huge hurry to go on break. Dinner salad was OK, when they finally got around to taking my order. Asked for a shot of Jim Beam, bar guy acted like he hardly heard me, too busy with the 3 other customers he had, then he just slopped some J B into a shot glass & kind of threw it at me, looking the other way. Just bad inattentive service. Won’t be going back.

The best food they had going for them were the peanuts. Service was slow — it took 45 minutes to get our food. Food was fast food quality — my fries were room temperature and I’ve had better luck with burgers at Sonic. All items are overpriced — also, for some reason Shiner is considered an imported beer. It was just, all in all, a bad enough experience that I won’t be back. It’s a shame too because it used to be a favorite spot.

Sorry as hell. They screwed up cooking my standard food order. Nothing special, right off the menu. They did comp that plate but they remade it and cooked the absolute hell out of it. The server knew it was messed up and then commenced to ignore us figuring the tip would be bad anyway. You play the game and so will i. It didn’t have to be like that. She was a decent waitress. Everywhere else was packed, except here. Go figure…

Waited 15 minutes for our drinks before asking for a manager. My nephews sprite was bad. Mine & my dad’s food was cold. Will not return.

Today, we enjoyed our lunch at Logan’s Roadhouse. My Ribeye steak was cooked medium well as requested. My daughter ordered a combo that included 2 kinds of shrimp and a sirloin. Her sautéed mushrooms were overdone so our waiter (Yauncy) recommended the grilled mushrooms on a skewer. He was right! Those were delish. My father ordered a shrimp trio dish which he really liked. Side salads were a healthy size. And don’t forget Logan’s signature yeast rolls. To die for! Our meal was a wonderful 4 stars but, Yauncy provided 5-​star service! We never asked for refills, he made great recommendations, nothing was a problem and he was always available. He was just awesome!

Not too long ago me and a friend went in for lunch. It wasn’t busy at all. I ordered a cheeseburger and when it came, there was a bite taken out of the meat AND the tomato. When the manager came over he tried telling me it was just the way the meat fell apart on the grill. Then why are there teeth marks on the tomato, i asked? He assured me he’d take care of it. When my new burger came back it was the same patty with a new chunk of meat to replace the bite. But the tomato was new, so I appreciated that. The manager didn’t offer any sort of discount, nor offer any apologies. This place is wretched and I refuse to eat there again.

First of all, if your establishment is going to seat patrons in the enclosed patio (we were not given a choice) on a night when it’s in the mid teens turn up the heat. No one wants to eat huddling in their jackets freezing.
Second, don’t serve what amounts to McDonald’s fries with a steak.
Third, avocado is meant to be green as is lettuce. If both are brown then the luster is off a $ 12 salad.
Won’t be back. Servers acted like we were being picky for simply not wanting to freeze as we noshed on sub par partially past the point of fresh food.

I will never set foot in Logan’s Amarillo again! Second time, final failure. 3 hours of messed up orders, overcooked steak, overcooked sweet potatoes, forgotten food, horrible service and empty drink glasses! Even had to get our own chair and fetch our own straws. After final bill was paid, I ordered another drink. 2 seconds later, I got the bill for the drink. After 15 minutes, I gave the ticket to the manager and told him to void it. Can’t even get a drink in this place without hassle!

Good food… place was nasty dirty. Lots of people on staff standing around. Bathrooms were dirty table was dirty cup came out with lipstick on it… won’t be coming back here

So… as it is … the Roadsouse tea is something to try… several times like me. Wow. what a great tasting moonshine tea. You will definitely feel the punch. Man. they were good!
Okay…to eat, wait… while you are sippin your roadhouse tea and reading the menu, they bring these fresh out of the oven rolls, melted butter on the outside… smells so good! The rolls are fantastic, the roadhouse tea is fantastic. So far 2 for 2.
My server. Marrisa, very good at paying attention to you. Very cute as well. So anyway I decide on the 12oz ribeye steak and half order of bbq ribs combo. Oh my… stwak done to my perfection. medium rare and the ribs… oh so good.
Bottim line… this is one dam good place to eat at in Amarillo!

Don’t usually do chains when I travel, but, tastey filet @ a fair $, plus I’ve only seen these in Texas. It’s no Fleming’s but not the price tag either.
Friendly folks. Casual place. Worth stopping for a consistent meal. The bread is a good bonus.

First time expericening a Logans Steakhouse. It takes some getting used too. I say that because I like the availabilty of peanuts but eating them made me feel like a snob. I confirmed with my waiter that I was allowed to just put the shells on the floor and they would get swept up later. The food was good and the service was good. I was very impressed with the beer prices for a 22oz mug for 2.99. Being from the east coast that blow me away. I hope my liver an handle the cheaper drink prices around here.

Porterhouse steak was delicious. they weren’t cooked the way we ordered so Brian took off a steak order we had 3 total
