Kwik Kar Oil & Lube

Fantastic service. I’ve never had my oil changed in 10min. They said I needed a new filter and instead of just saying so they showed me. The price was what is should be, if not cheaper then normal.
The owner was kind and joked with the customers in the waiting room. They had magazines for kids and adults to read.
As I left the owner opened the door for me and one of the mechanics helped my son in his car seat.
Can’t beat that service. They will obviously keep my business for all our cars.

I get my oil changed here! I really appreciate that the guys working here treat me with the same respect as the men who bring their vehicles here. I hate «The Run Around» other places give you. You know, the «up charge service» — anything to make a dollar. Kwik Kar is not like that! Which I love. Great service and friendly people!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They do good work, and are very fast as well. I got the full service oil change, and they washed my windows and vacuumed the carpets. I’m only in town for a short time, but I’d definitely come here again if I lived in Altus. Highly recommended.

Pulled in on a Friday afternoon and the small waiting room was packed, with a few more people standing outside because there were not enough chairs to go around. I wasn’t in a hurry, but they still were able to service my vehicle and get me out of there in about 15 – 20 minutes. They even vacuumed the carpets!
The staff were all friendly and courteous, but I was uncomfortable when one of the guys working on my car came into the packed waiting room, walked over to my chair, and loudly asked me to give him my name and address. He should have pulled me aside to the computer at the front desk, or handed me a clipboard and asked me to write it down. I was not happy about giving my personal information out loud in a room full of strangers (the guy sitting next to me was a real creeper who I’d been politely trying to ignore) so I asked him if I could write it down instead. He handed me his pen and paper, and then stood over me and proceeded to say everything that I was writing out loud («Oh, you live at xxx…»), which completely defeated the purpose of me writing it down in the first place. I know this is a small, generally friendly town, but a girl can’t be too careful these days and I’m pretty sure that creeper wrote down my address when the Kwik Kar guy said it out loud for everyone to hear. For this, I deducted one star.

Very welcoming crew. I was there for over an hour because my drain plug was over tightened during the last oil change and required some twerking to get off. All other customers were in and out in no time. I’m just passing through but if I wasn’t Id be back.

Getting your oil changed on a regular basis in Altus is a must. We have all the extremes and very little normal. Besides the weather (dust), there are two categories of drivers here. well 3 if you count normal people. Well ok 4 categories if you count psychos.
Category 1. Nascar wannabe’s (my son) 2. Centenarian (my Boss) 3. Normal terror stricken drivers (like me.) 4. Psychos (my ex wife).. Psychos don’t change their oil but they get listed because they are a bonafied category in Altus America.
Whether you drive like a Nascar wannabe 0 – 100 between lights or like a Centenarian 20 in a 40 or normal like me (or psycho like you know who…) they all put strain on your engine. Not to mention the dust. Texas blows to Kansas and a week later Kansas blows back to Texas. We my friends are caught in the middle and a lot of that dust gets caught in our engines and filters. Getting your oil changed is the best way to keep your car healthy. Also, we all know that to do anything in this state you have to put some miles in, thousands of miles. 7K takes no time at all and gas is not getting any cheaper. Oil and filter change will save you gas money as we all know.
All need to go to Kwik Kar. Kwik Kar Altus that is. I have not dealt with any other Kwik Kar, s. I have had my oil changed in many places in America and in 5 different countries. Which means I’ve been BS’ed in 5 different languages or 6 to include English. it was NJ English but English none the less.
Not in Altus… No BS here. These guys know their business, they are completely honest and the prices are very good. Ecologically speaking its also the best way to insure the oil is recycled. Why change your own oil if they can do it for about 10 bucks more and get rid of the spent oil for you. They are fast too. Even with a tire rotation I have never been able to drink more than 2 cups of coffee before its time to pay. In my book that is money and time well spent. I also save money on Band-​Aids and eyewash solution… Oh and the coffee is not bad. It would be cool if they could move next to Happy donuts. Oil and a donuts…

These guys do not bull-​butter you. They tell you what’s wrong when they inspect your vehicle but they do not push any major brand or try to sell you a service. However, they do give you options and they are very knowledgeable in the most-​recent changes in the Engine service field. They have Penzoil oils, and they make a difference in my engine. Their High-​Mileage oil change was an excellent service rating by locals, and boy was it good! I had it done it in 10 minutes!!! It’s 15 if it;s SUPER busy. They are friendly and do not rush you during service to pay quickly, especially if you have options of other services. Give’em a try, they work with you, not work against you. CLEAN RESTROOMS! I am definitely gonna be a repeat customer [as I have been here twice before, with the same excellent service]!
