Stay away from this place if you are looking for industrious employees, friendly service and competitive pricing.
There sure are some lazy people working here, and they seem to be OK with that.
I called on a Friday, at 4.10 PM, to get pricing on an item I wanted to buy. I was told that they did not have it in stock, nor did they typically stock it on a regular basis, BUT…“not to worry, sir… we can order it for you.” That was the response I got. A good step in the right direction to secure my business. Unfortunately, that is where it pretty much came to a screeching halt. The employee I spoke to told me that he would have to call his supplier/​distributor to get a price for me. So, I offered to wait and be put on hold while he called his supplier to get me the information so I could make a decision whether or not I wanted to order is. Ohhhh, but he didn’t want to do that. He told me that he wouldn’t be able to do anything for me until Monday. WHAT!!! I asked some questions — Is your supplier closed right now, it is only 4:15? Answer: No. Will they not take your calls to get pricing after a certain time? Answer: No. So, with that I asked what seemed to be the problem. I then started to get this BS answer about how it was Friday and it was late in the day — blah blah blah. Yeah, but they are open ’til 4.30, right? Answer: Yes. So, again I asked what the problem was. All I got at this point was, «I will be able to give you a better answer next week on Monday.» This was a person that didn’t want to do a lick of work. I’m certain that it would’ve taken no more than 5 minutes, at the max, to put me on hold, look up this supplier’s phone number, dial it and ask for a price; and he didn’t even after to do that much work as I already gave him the manufacturer’s part number for the item.
Bottom line, this is a lazy home improvement center. They do not want to go out of their way to answer event the simplest of questions — «What does it cost?»
My suggestion: Shop somewhere else! Deny them your business and your money and maybe, just maybe, they will get the message someday.

When we decided to remodel our kitchen, we called our friend at YBC who referred us to Murray. Murray did a super job working with us to redesign our outdated kitchen with classic materials. Our new floor is not cold like tile would be, though it is tiles– I love how easy it is to clean and looks super. We decided to go with a quartz counter, since it does not require the maintenance of other rocks. The countertop stays shiny and clean with only water and a dishcloth! The real focal point is our backsplash — Italian tile — changed from the original design I picked due to availability of tile (I would have had to wait at least 6 wks for it to come over on a boat from Italy…), and I cannot say it is not as good — I love what we have.
Joe worked hard installing everything and making sure it was all plum and looked super.
YBC is professional and I would recommend to anyone.
We are soon having the den and dining room updated with crown molding and new floors from YBC. I am very excited.
