My friend suggested fast eddies, but I took him to riverbend so we can eat and also play pool and darts. I ordered toasted ravioli with marinara sauce for dipping. The sauce was clearly was refrigerated it was ice cold. When I asked the girl in the kitchen to warm it she looked at me like i was crazy and said they don’t have a microwave. I then went to the lady at the bar, she said they have a microwave but it would cause too much of a mess. The lil cup came with a lid and everybody knows you can simply cover stuff before putting it in the microwave. Guess I wasn’t worth the trouble I asked for a refund, was told I couldnt. Eventually it was done but not without the lady making it know this is a one time thing and to never do it again. We took our food and left. I guess using the microwave was too much. Planned on having drinks and playing pool. So great job on losing out on money. JANUARY 21, 2016

An Alton mainstay. Good cheep food, lots of pool tables, Good drink specials, and relaxed atmosphere. Kids are welcome. Conveniently located and has a covered smoking area.

Paid for music at the jukebox only to have the bartender come out and skip my songs and tell me they are banning them from the machine. Rock isnt ok but noisy rap is? Screw this place. Also their drinks suck, their long islands taste like salty margarita mix without tequila. I know what a long island is and they cant make it right.

Conveniently located within Alton, tons of pool tables, well-run pool tournaments. The food is good and priced unbelievably well! Drinks are plentiful and also easy on the pocketbook! I love this place!
Several stalls in the bathroom cuts down on lines. A huge variety of patronage was kinda nice. A comfortable covered, almost indoor smoking section.
Looking forward to going back!

We love Riverbend Billiards. They have great food, lots of room, lots of nice pool tables, friendly staff and friendly atmosphere. We visit this place two to three times a week when visiting our family in Illinois.

Fun place to go play pool, I don’t suggest staying here too late. It gets really busy in the late hours of the evening. They do have a «curfew» for those under 17. You have to be out but I think 10pm? which is nice if you don’t like the younger crowd.
Last time we played for about 2 hours and cost us a little less than 10 bucks. It was worth it too. They provided sticks if you don’t have one.
They also have a bar and food in a separate room from the pool tables. Its a good place to go if your bored and just looking to pass some time.
