Burger King

What a bummer. I found out this morning that the breakfast muffin sandwich that I’ve fallen in love with, was a limited time offer and is no longer available. The Bacon and Gouda Cheese Muffin Sandwich was the bomb. It was like getting a breakfast sandwich at an upscale coffee shop. What was funny, is the fact the slide show on the screen next to the menu, still featured it and showed how it was made. The staff was very apologetic, and pointed the finger at corporate. Perhaps if I had reviewed the sandwich earlier, sales would have increased and it could now be a staple on the BK Menu.
Since I couldn’t have my Gouda, I enjoyed a Sausage and Egg Muffin with American Cheese. Wasn’t as upscale, but it still is better then the Muffin Sandwiches the clown makes. I also enjoyed, a refreshing Caramel Iced Coffee that was not bad, considering the fact that it was created in a fast food operation.
A side note from a previous visit:
I love donut holes and they are now available here at Burger King. You’ll receive 5 holes, in a box. Crazy me, don’t know what I was expecting when I ordered them. They are microwaved right before your eyes, so don’t set your standards to high. In fact, do not order them at all.
Over all, I still like this BK located close to work better then the Golden Arches. I pass the clown and over shoot work to visit this King when urge arises.
