This WAS one of the best hotels around the Seminole County area until it got bought by someone and it went down the drain, the service got worse and the rooms started to get mold in them and they just were not maintaining the place. Just recently I found out they are closing this hotel and rebuilding it in to one tall building like most Hampton Inns are now. What made this location unique was that the rooms were in the out side so you could come out of your room and be right out now days you have this buildings with the rooms inside so to go out you have to go down stairs and walk out of the building. This location will be missed but mostly the building it self, this hotel has been here for nearly 30 year and when it re opens it will be smaller with another hotel right next to it. I have known people that have stayed at this hotel and loved it, but it just got worse and worse once it got bought, the freebies like the cookies at 7 were great they also use to have BBQ ‘S by the pool but stopped after a while. The rated here were fair and not to pricey, this hotel would get packed during the holidays with so many people coming for the holidays and also for meets like cheerleaders at times would stay here but you can tell business has gone down on this hotel recently. Free breakfast here just like at all Hampton Inns. Three stars for its resent fall in costumer service and when I just recently visited the top floor of some of the buildings were empty and used as storage, it looks like they are still having guest stay here but only a few rooms are being used. It will be hard and sad to see this landmark go. ;(

This is definitely a motel turned into a Hampton. Check in was good with friendly staff. Other reviews talked about food at night — I have not tried but was told if is chez mix and beer. There are still cookies at 7 pm and breakfast in the morning. Wireless is only in lobby with wired in the rooms. My room smelled moldy or musty or something — must have been reason the fan in the bathroom was on all night

I grabbed a room here today for New Years Eve(because, just because) — I was really really impressed with the place — It looks a little older on the outside, but on the inside, the lobby is great, the staff was really friendly, and the bedding — now I feel the need to go buy new sheets, pillows, and a comforter for my own home. I’m pretty disappointed that my plans won’t allow me to make use of the pool that closes at 10pm or eat the fresh-baked cookies that will be ready at 7pm. But all in all, it’s a great room, great hotel, and at a price I didn’t expect to get!

I’m kind of a connoisseur of the Hampton Inns, and this one is probably a little older than most. Staff is very friendly, and there is a free happy hour with a decent selection of food… or so it seems, as I’ve not been able to take advantage of it. The rate seems pretty inexpensive to me, and there’s always a decent free breakfast. Really no substantive complaints, but I don’t like it as much as the other Hamptons I’ve used recently, so I can’t give it as high a rating. This is really more like a 3.5 star. Kind of annoying, the rooms are exterior access, which means I get rained on when walking to breakfast. Also… and this cannot be held against the motel, My room is perfectly oriented so that light from an outside streetlamp passes under the curtain and glints off the top of the air conditioning unit, directly in to my eyes when I lie i bed and face towards the night stand. Yeah. Weird.

I’ve been going to this hotel consistently since the early 90s. The staff there is incredibly friendly, they have wonderful facilities in a very homey setting, it is in a prime location in Altamonte Springs(right next to I-4 intersection to jet you to the theme parks), they will always satisfy, and the prices are reasonable. The cookies at 7PM is always a highlight of staying there. They also have Mondays: free nachos, cheese, beer, and wine, Tuesdays: free pizza and beer night Wednesdays: free chicken wings and beer night and Thursdays: free barbeque night(burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, etc) Daily, you get a free breakfast buffet that is very respectable. I have alot of sentimentality toward this place because I have great memories there for the last 2 decades every Christmas. They have a very very hot jacuzzi that is so relaxing and nice pool facilities. Also, a 24 hour weight room and a 24 hour business center. Has been and always will be a perfect place to stay in this area. Beds are extremely comfy now and you can choose from 1 king size or 2 double beds in smoking or non smoking. Only thing I’ve been disappointed with recently is them taking away the Pay Per View option. There has been a scarcity of late night porn ever since.
