Extended Stay America – Orlando – Altamonte Springs

We stayed here for two nights because no other hotels were available in the area we needed to stay in.
The worst thing about the room is the smell of smoke! When I called down to tell the front desk clerk that we requested a non-​smoking room, she said you are in one! The smell is so strong in the bathroom you would think someone had been in there smoking 5 minutes before.
We checked to see if we could find another room for our second night, but we could not find a room! I was willing to lose the 85.00 if I could find another room!
Terrible, terrible, terrible.

So like I told the front desk… its not what was advertised on KAYAK.
as a matter of fact the front desk isn’t cool. they aren’t helpful, and they didn’t even have any of the amenities that are advertised on the key card folder.
ALL of the staff.
There were two people, one Indian One Chinese… during the day… at night an Overweight American.
2 girls one guy total.
and…only the room was nice. for some reason I went to add photos,
and they went into the TEN pictures for the web instead of personalized, so THAT one with the kitchen and that one with the Cup Of Noodles in the Fridge, Those were my pics.

Checked in and waited several minutes for someone to come to the front desk. The hotel gave me an upgrade but not sure why, but when I get to the room. It stinks like smoke and there is blood on the bathroom wall. Left the room quickly ask the front desk for another room. Gave a me a model room and apologize for this experience.

Priceline had decent marks for this place. Price was $ 56 and all I wanted was a de want room for the night. Nothing like finding somebody’s beer cap in the washcloth when you go to pick it up! The air wasn’t cooling so I called the front desk. Only room left was smoking. Smoke makes my asthma flare so that was out. Front desk didn’t bother to say they’d talk to a mgr in the morning etc. Kept trying to push a smoking room at me even when I said I couldn’t breath it it! Stay away from this dump.

No es el mejor hotel por el precio que pagamos pero fue lo unico que conseguimos en todo el area. El hotel aunque dice que es libre de tabaco huele a cigarrillo desde los pasillos hasta las habitaciones. Las toallas son pequeñas, delgadas y manchadas. Ninguna de las toallas estaba libre de manchas, un poco desagradable a la vista. La cama estaba bien pero las almohadas pueden mejorar mucho. Se nota que no existe mucho interes en invertir en la apariencia ni el olor del sitio. Las paredes de los pasillos se estan soltando el papel tapiz. En resumen, si tienes la oportunidad de buscar otro hotel… No lo dude un segundo, este debe ser una de sus ultimas opciones.

Be Aware — This place is extremely filthy and poorly managed. Cooking is allowed inside rooms but the exhaust ventilation system in the hotel is terrible causing an enormous Curry /​Fried food smell in both rooms and hallways.
King bed was hard, pillows not comfortable, no bathtub (as mentioned on booking site), stains all over carpet, sofa bed loaded with bread crumbs from previous guests, chewing gum in shower, enormous dust in closets, mold on shower curtain, towels like sandpaper and with stains etc etc.
Also NOT mentioned on their website:
1) There is NO daily room cleaning service offered at this hotel rather every 8 days!
2) No complimentary shampoo, soap etc. in room
3) Wi-​fi is free but slow. Normal speed is $ 4 /​day.
4) No daily towel change. Have to do it yourself at the lobby. When I went they were out of towels for the day.
Would not go back to this place anymore and I don’t recommend anyone to stay here. Wished I’d read Unilocal before booking.

A/​C had stopped working and they didn’t compensate me for my room being so steamy. Don’t stay here!

The shower curtain had mold on it (see photo), the front desk people look at you like you are an idiot, the included kitchen items are dangerously cheap, the hallways smell like smoke (not always the cigarette kind), the stairwell smells like rotten produce, the police visit once a week, the laundry machines cost $ 4 a load (and make your clothes smell like smoke), the rooms are not cleaned properly, the internet is AWFUL, the television channels are few, and the walls are thin (enough said).
The only good thing is that it is in a decent location. Not worth your stay, though.

Horrible customer service, room not close to clean bathroom not even with a sample of shampoo, the fridge so noise that could not let you sleep we have to unplug it. We won’t recommended it to nobody.
