The Printworks

The Printworks team is amazing! My company had custom bowling shirts made for our 40^th anniversary party. The shirts came out great and the turn around time was fast. When I picked the shirts up Irene helped me. She was so sweet and down to earth, I loved chatting with her. We will definitely be using them again and I’d recommend them for business and personal needs.

My experience with this business was very irritating and a waste of my time. I needed various pieces embroidered last minute so I called up and sent over the artwork. I was told the artwork was too complex for embroidering so I ended up resubmitting a simple design. I was told I could bring the pieces in on Sat morning to go over the details of thread color and size. I called Sat morning to let them know I still planned on coming out. After a 20 min drive and about 1 hour after I had called I arrived at the shop. It looked like one of the guys was leaving for lunch so I told him I had called and was there to drop off the items. He told me his brother was the one who handles the embroidery and wouldn’t be returning for 3 days. Why wasn’t this important info relayed when I called that morning?

The Printworks is the place to go! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful for all your questions and needs. I’ve had business cards made up and currently working on a business sign with them which i’m very excited about. They are very fast, affordable and efficient. I’ll never use another print shop when I have The Printworks helping me marketing my business. Thank guys and gals! You rock!

Printworks is amazing — always on time and great to work with. We thought they didn’t do promotional items and went to another company but the other company couldn’t meet our budget (and wanted to charge crazy shipping fees. Sean and Irene immediately came up with local companies to help us meet our deadline and budget! Such a great team. Family run too.

I needed to purchase 35 t-​shirts for a department at work. I needed them quickly, I needed good quality, I needed custom artwork, and I had pricing restrictions. Irene Manning and her crew took care of me on all counts. They delivered great product on time at the price they said, no surprises anywhere. Service was very, very high. Friendly people. I will go back. They are my preferred vendor from now on.

I trusted the great reviews on Unilocal and I was right. Super friendly owner who interrupted what he was doing and took the time to meet my needs immediately. Then he charged me the minimum amount of money given the time he spent to make it perfect.

I shopped around at few local places and was blown away by the customer service. A hidden gem. Sean and Mike are friendly owners who will help you through your project and point you the right direction. the custom work they provided was top notch. They got a great business model. I look forward to working with these guys again.

I was literally screwed over by another printer in LA. I needed 39 coveralls embroidered with our logo for a Christmas party. The day before the party the other printer told me they couldn’t do it in time despite having the materials for 1 month!
I called around and stumbled upon Printworks in Altadena. I explained the situation and they came to the rescue. I met them at their office and went over the project and they embroidered samples with me present to make sure it was fine. Their level of customer service is second to none!!!
If you are searching for who can embroider in Altadena, Pasadena or Northeast LA don’t look any further! These are the guys!!!
Not only will I take my embroidery work but it will take all printing and screen printing.

I can’t say enough good things about Printworks (formerly M&M Printing). They are reliable, affordable and a pleasure to work with.
I have used a bunch of different printers and haven’t found another company to match their speed and quality of work. I would recommend in a second.
Some of the materials they have printed for me include; formal invitations, letterhead, newsletters, mass mailings, envelopes and large and small posters to name a few.
Try them! I promise they will live up to their review!

Great little place. Very helpful staff, nice décor (if you’re pro-​Irish), and wonderfully cheap rates. Printed two resumes and two headshots and it only cost me $ 3 (they threw in a third for free!) Definitely my new go-​to place for printing.

Everything came out Perfect!!!
The quality was 10x better than other companies I have used, and maybe the fact that it is family owned has a lot to do with their awesome customer service. I was helped by a genuinely kind and patient man. This will be my place for printing, They sure are easy to work with and friendly people.
I came here for printing, therefore I will rate them on their printing quality not on other random stuff. I wish more people would stay focus on the product or service to keep Unilocal as the useful tool that is meant to be.

I needed prints and copies for a Visa application while visiting family in the area. Found this shop on Unilocal and decided to go. Very friendly full-​service with water and coffee while waiting.

This small business is very friendly and efficient. I had them do art work and they put vinyl logo, lettering and numbers on our school uniforms. They got it all done ahead of schedule and correctly.

Their business reputation of «31 years» was so great that they had to reopen under a new name and look. That’s right no more M&M. Can’t speak to why the change, but I can’t imagine the need to re-​brand yourself if the old company was not broke. I am just saying.

Talk about service! I have had things printed here on several different occasions and not once have I been disappointed.
Most recently I had 13 album covers printed for my brother. I simply gave them a cd with the images on it and asked that they be printed a nice matte paper, sized the same as a record cover. I got exactly what I asked for and more. One of the prints didn’t come out perfect so they kindly reprinted it and let me have both copies. I was very happy with these prints, as was my brother.
This place also has a very nice store front shop and ample parking for an Altadena business.
Wonderful operation run by great people, you really can’t go wrong!
