Attendant was very nice!!! Expensive but what isn’t in a little town in the middle of nowhere! This will be my stop every time I travel through Alpine!

The tackle shop has tackle, beer, soda, candy, fishing equipment, knifes, cigarettes, gas, flashlights, gas cans, etc.
The workers here are courteous but a bit slow. Most things/​people in Alpine are slow.
There is a really good selection of candy and jerky.
Prices are a bit high. They charged me 22 bucks for an empty 5 gallon gas can with a nozzle that was impossible to use without spilling all over.

If you’re in the White or Blue Mountains and find you need gasoline, fish hooks, squirming worms, a sandwich, maps and guides to the area, hunting season booklets, books about local history, or a copy of the famous tome «Trouble in a Green Pickup» this is the place to stop. They also have public restrooms, girls and boys. A little bit of everything in a rustic convenience store.
