The good the bad and the ugly:
This store has some great bargains around the holiday season. Other than that it’s not a real big deal. They have buy one get one sales but it seems that the prices may have been marked up so they can mark them down or at least increased to manufacturer’s suggested retail price. I Drive up from San Diego occasionally just to check the deals. Usually I’m disappointed and end up going to the Nike store. Yesterday’s visit was no exception. I found shoes marked as clearance that were marked down from $ 74 to $ 70. Another shoe was marked from $ 70 snd was on clearance for $ 69.
That’s kinda pathetic for a clearance item. Anyway, I probably won’t be making any more trips there until the holiday season.

I’ve always had good results with Famous Foot Wear and I was very glad to learn their outlet store here had a very good variety of men’s shoes and good prices. I picked up two pairs of shoes, one a black pair Deer Stags for work which were on sale for $ 44.99 plus 15% off with an e-mailed coupon I used from Famous Footwear (
), and I picked up a very nice comfortable pair of Van’s for casual wear for $ 39.99 with the same 15% discount (
).
The young lady running the store when I came in was very nice and helpful. She gave me some tips on upcoming sales and helped me find the right width shoes that I needed. The store was very clean and well organized (
