Deplorable service is an understatement. Someone needs to explain that this is a place of business, and not the local hen house. Not only are they completely incapable of transacting in their only function, but they have no comprehension of boundaries, and interfere in things that are of no concern to them. When I discuss something with an employee in confidence, and then have another employee speak to me with regards to the confidence, it’s more than apparent that confidentiality means nothing to them. There is never anyone inside the branch, and never more than 2 cars at the drive up, so maybe they’re just bored and being nosy is a form of recreation. Regardless, dealing with people who can’t MYOB and just stick to their JOB is not an option, especially when their incompetence nearly lost me thousands… anywhere but here, literally anywhere…

I like small regional banks and CBT always delivers. This branch is one of their largest and it seems to have nicest tellers. The Temecula and Claremont offices were my favorite, but this small mountain town location has won me over.
