A NICE COZY OPTION!
On my previous visit, (approximately two years ago), to this restaurant, the employees were caught off guard because the place was a mess and everyone was in the backroom «hanging out» around 4:30 in the morning. The food was okay but I was very disappointed with the overall experience.
This time we popped in around 7:00 am and although it was early, the staff was busy making breakfast and the restaurant was clean. I ordered the double waffle and my husband ordered the fiesta omelet with hash browns and toast. Not only did we each enjoy our rather simple but well prepared meals, we also enjoyed the service. It was warm and efficient and peppered with «Honey» and «Darling».
I really appreciated having the heat on as it was fifty degrees outside and restaurants tend to be very cool to me. This Waffle House was warm and cozy which made breakfast even more enjoyable. We definitely look forward to a return visit!

Joy is the best cook on the planet! A few days every week a cook named Joy and her sister, L.A. serve up the best breakfast in Atlanta. I have eaten at hundreds of Waffle Houses over my 54 years, but this Waffle House with Joy at the grill and L.A. on the floor is the best by far. Just try a 3 egg cheese steak omelette with tomatoes, onions, jalapeños and mushrooms in the fold with your favorite side and just see what I am talking about! But, whatever you choose its best when Joy and LA team up.

My mistake, Crickit’s servers name is actually Christine and she is awesome, and so is the rest of the crew, excellent service as always. I drive right pass Covington locations, lithonia locations just to came way out over here. The positive energy and happy vibes from this spot is the way to start your day!

5 stars simply because of the dining experience I had here.
The place:
Typical diner, pretty clean and plenty of space.
The eats:
Hash smothered and topped with gravy was the best thing i’ve ever had. It was simply just… comforting. :) We also ordered the scramble, which was delicious as well. The waffle wasn’t all that impressive considering that this place is called «Waffle» house, but it was not bad.
The service:
Now, you haven’t experienced southern hospitality unless you come to this exact Waffle House. Came here on a rainy Wednesday before new years, and was blown away by our server L.A. She was simply the sweetest, most welcoming person I’ve ever met on my trip to Atlanta. She talked to us as if we were her family, and always made sure we had enough coffee in our cups and fulfilled all other requests with the brightest smile. She just seemed so happy, and it was apparent that she really enjoyed her job despite the horrendous hours, which is always encouraging to see (:

The order came out wrong 3 times and they were slow so go at your own decision, most others are very good.

It feels weird typing this, but I it has to be shared – the staff of this Waffle House were simply the most genuine, enthusiastic, caring bunch of people I have ever encountered. No kidding. My wife and I were absolutely blown away.
The food tasted like standard Waffle House food, but the people were just incredible. From the short amount of time we were there, several regulars walked in and out of the restaurant, who were all addressed by name. It would have bordered on the surreal if it didn’t feel so genuine. This pumped us up for the rest of the day and I left a large tip. Well done!

People can say what they wanna say about Waffle House this is my spot. I’ve been to Rosco’s chicken n waffles to see if they could top Waffle House’s waffle and nope they couldn’t not even close.
The hash browns are the best waffles are unbeatable chicken n eggs always hits the spot and you can never lose with a chicken melt plate.
Not to mention they stay open ²⁴⁄₃₆₅ doors never close! I got a secret for you that will help you know if you have a good girl or not. Just ask her «do you like Waffle House?» If she says no RUN LIKE HELL! Trust me on that!
WAFFLE HOUSE FOREVER!

I love Waffle House and grew up eating there. This is my home cooking since Mama did not cook. Unfortunately, this WH is not up to par. I’ve eaten here multiple times and I’m always disappointed. Last week all my food was overcooked. The bread on my sandwich was burnt and I asked for my hash browns to be done light and they were over done. It was not even busy in there! It was before the dinner rush and we were the only ones there. I’ve seen the WH cooks turn out awesome food with a full house so this was just plain embarrassing. Get with it!

After entering and giving the host our name, we sat patiently for a short 5 minute wait. The host seated us and went about his duties. The waitress came up to our table, no greeting other than, «were you in line?» We said yes. She implied we had cut the line, no apologies, just «some people do that!» Mind you, my husband and I are in our 50’s. She then said, «you know what you want? We replied, menus. She said, «Oh, most people know what they want.» Rude. With my eggs I ordered dry toast, it was missing a slice, so I asked for it. She brought cut pieces of toast where someone had pulled off the buttered part, to make it dry. Unbelievable! Someone’s fingers had to have done this, I wouldn’t eat it. Overall, very rude server, will not go there again. Also, for those with babies, make sure you wipe down highchair. We saw couple turning chair upside down to hold their baby’s car seat. So top part was on dirty floor.

Fast and friendly staff. Always get a hearty greeting, no matter what time you come in. One of the better Waffle House’s I have eaten at.

This Waffle House is just that, a Waffle House. The food is just like all the other waffle houses, and so is the service. There is often a wait on the weekends, and this location even has more seating than most. Sometimes they take a while to get over to the table, but generally it’s not too bad.

Good waffles, bad service. My server never came back to check up on us and never brought me water. I had to get up a couple of times to request different things.
Still coming back for their waffles.

I will pretty much give Waffle House a standard rating of 4 stars and vary it depending on the service. I gave this one 3 stars because the servers are really, really, really slow here (I should give it 2 stars, but I don’t want to be too mean). They are quite bad about taking your order and coming back to check on coffee or soda refills. After the order is in, the food comes out in typically fast Waffle House fashion, but the wait staff is really crappy.
Also, and I don’t intend to be mean, there is one waitress there that smells SO bad. Oh my gosh. It is really suffocating. I am not knocking the establishment for that, just want to let potential diners know.

Nice Employees, Clean Facility. Food not to good! I’m not a fan when I’m sober!

It is what it is. A very consistent slice of Americana. A diner /​greasy spoon where you don’t have to guess whats in it.
Take a break from counting calories you’re probably just gonna be chunky and enjoy a waffle, hash browns, chicken sandwich and a coke and think how good it is to know you can get the same goodness at every WF.

I like this location a lot because there’s never a wait which is why i love them so much.

This is one of the few places where you can get an authentic American diner style breakfast. The food is simple, genuine and very good.
My favorites are:
1) Waffles. Not Belgian waffles, but American waffles — softer, more creamy in texture, not too think so you can enjoy one without eating too much. Add chocolate chips for the ultimate waffle taste.
2) Hashbrowns. Where else can you order hashbrowns extra crispy with hame, cheese, onions, jalapenos, mushrooms and chili. These hashbrowns are superb.
3) Breakfast sandwiches. I usually get fried egg, bacon and cheese sandwich. The egg is a real fried egg, not the fake or processed stuff you find elsewhere. Its pretty simple but very good.
A previous reviewer focused on the FDA inspection grade. The FDA rating is now 95A, was 97A the previous time I went. I have never seen a B grade here, but I only go maybe 3 – 4 times a year.

82 B. If I got that grade in a class in college, I’d have been tickled pink. But when I noticed it on the food sanitation sheet at this location yesterday, I was a little concerned. See, they grade on a bit of a curve with these things, and an 82 really isn’t that hot. I wasn’t close enough to read the reasons why. But I will say that this isn’t the first time I’ve seen a lower score at this particular location.
Nevertheless, I eat at this location more than I care to admit. The staff is pretty friendly and it isn’t crazy busy. Otherwise, typical Waffle House.

Waffle House never disappoints. Great bacon, great hashbrowns, great coffee.
Even the grits are delicious. Trust me when I tell you, delicious grits in a restaurant (even in the South) are hard to come by.
This location has friendly and ultra quick service. This place is just the best.
