They had what I needed for a gift, but they are overpriced. No one greeted me or even acknowledged my presence. Even upon payment the cashier (#5) didn’t offer a total just held her hand out for payment. I won’t return and will make sure others do not as well.

Good selection, bad service.
My boyfriend and I walk in and head to the rye whiskey section for a present for a Manhattan lover. We look pretty young (we are mid 20s) but we still deserve some decent customer service. We didn’t know what to get and were approached by a woman about ten minutes after our entrance. When she could not help us, she said she would bring over the whiskey guy. We told her specifically what our criteria was, including a pretty large price tag. (Our gift receiver had very expensive taste). Instead of the guy coming over, she came back and offered one suggestion and left. Thanks…
In all, if you’re looking for some guidance or nice service don’t go here. If you want a good selection it may be worth a trip.

The staff is helpful and friendly and its close to home.
Update 1.15.16 If you haven’t checked Royal out recently, they have gotten extremely competitive with a lot of there popular volume beverages,.

Open and organized with good prices on beer, wine and spirits. The prices on some of these items are one to two dollars cheaper than other stores in the area. Royal has an Interesting selection of Ports and the French wines might be worth checking out.
For those of you with slippery hands you may want to grab a cart Royals policy is «If you break it you bought it.» Shot Please.

This is the closest booze store to my house. Kind of glad it is.
What used to be a Hollywood Video (it has some space) now occupies the liquor store.
Spacious, clean, and lots of variety (they have certain high qual limited selections and cigars as well).
Wine, Beer, Spirits, even craft brew.
The lady was nice but no one asked me for help with anything (although it was self explanatory, a greeting would be nice).
I have seen lower prices though, thats what kept me from giving it 5 stars.
