We walked into what appeared to be a «dead zone» on Veterans Day because my husband, who is a vet, couldn’t remember the name of the restaurant in the area offering Vets free meals. We were greeted by the bartender who condescendingly said«We said that we don’t offer free anything in here» when we asked about the free meal very special. We didn’t feel welcomed nor did we like the atmosphere.

I thought the prices were a little steep. The food and service was good, but nothing really special. I enjoyed the cocktails.

Bartender was friendly. Pub-burger was delicious. Pub-dog was dog-a-licous. Tots were crispy and salty. Lots of beer choices. Not too loud to carry on a civilized conversation. Atmosphere had just the right amount of dank. Plus, it’s right next to the movie theater. I shall return.

This restaurant has a really nice appearance from the outside and in a great part of town. The inside is a little divey and dank. I like that the bar is the center of the restaurant and has a relaxed ambience. There are TVs but not overbearing. We stopped in for drinks only. The service was prompt and friendly. The pours are also generous. Cheers!

Wonderful find in Johns Creek. Great food! Live music on Friday and Saturday. We were serenaded by a singer/guitar player with a melodically deep voice and an extensive repertoire of songs. Music starts at 9:00 p.m. They do need to expand their beer selection. Thumbs up

Took friends and family for drinks and dinner. Sign on the entrance door stated that the kitchen equipment was not working and apps or dinner was not available. Sad Got a few drinks and was very disappointed with the selection and service. Needless to say I will not be going back.

This place reeks of desperation. To the point where we’ll not go in again. At least when it was Bridges the atmosphere was pleasant and high end. The only people I and my boyfriend have seen in here the 2 recent times we’ve gone since this turned into the Pubhouse appear to be staff and then other service industry people from other restaurants that the bartender seems to beg to come to be there. So the whole vibe is weird. Made us feel out of place. And the music seems to be sort of lone wolf guitar players that play for free that also seem desperate for any one to listen. Drinks are fine. Food is better than many. Atmosphere and staff just pervasive.

My coworker and I go here after work and it’s always a good time. Beer prices are ok. Just a good escape for after work

Great bar service with excellent food. The chicken pot pie soup and tatter tots are a great choice. Atmosphere is relaxed and easy going, even have a pool table and speakeasy if you’re looking for something different. Highly recommend!

With a name like Pub House should have Pub food. No wings or mozzarella sticks. Food was horrible and service was poor beer was flat. Menu’s were printed on a inkjet printer and they had to take ours to give to the next table. Had a bad feeling when we walked through the door. I don’t see this place staying open long. Sorry.

If i was guided by some of the reviews that were posted i would have missed on the awesome ribs i just had. Oeeeeeee. Well, its a date night for me and wife so we decided to try this place since our movie didn’t start until about an hour and a half later. Started with wine and cider, small salads came in and then the entrees, she had spaghetti and meatballs that were amazing, and i had the ribs, that to me were great, matched with house made coleslaw and fries. Service is ok, but we will come back and chill on another night.

I’m utterly shocked at the ratings for this place. Are these people eating at the same restaurant I am? I went once and have been going back regularly ever since. The food is seriously delicious! The fish of the fish and chips is extremely well cooked, and the fries and tots are wonderful(they come with a sprinkling of garlicky cheesy stuff). Even my mother, a notorious food grouch, enjoyed it thoroughly. I haven’t tasted a dish I didn’t enjoy. I see reviews complaining about the beer selection. There’s a massive list of beers on every table. It’s not the biggest selection I’ve ever seen, but I can’t imagine 30+ beers as a «small selection.» The waiters and waitresses have always been super attentive and helpful, almost overly so. This place is one of my new favorite places to go.

Great place to hang out with friends and most knowledgeable bartenders in area. Ask Ken about cocktails he is passionate about his craft as is Andy and Brenda.

I like this Pub! It’s a place Johns Creek has needed– a local bar that is open late, with good food, good drinks, cold beer, and live music. It’s a place to hang. The service is friendly, it’s casual… and very comfortable. Dim lighting and dark wood and leather add to the atmosphere. It’s a great size for crowds– with a long, «wrap around» bar, and ample seating in the dining room. A small, intimate room called«The Speakeasy» will be opening soon.

I have been here a couple times, and it’s not been very busy. Not sure what’s up with this location, but it doesn’t seem to hold well. I will say the bartenders are great, and make pretty good drinks! The food was just okay. Had some hummus, which was kinda bland and not smooth. The turkey burger was decent, but nothing I’d say I need to come back. Good spot to grab a drink though and chill.

What an experience! As soon as you step in you feel like you have been taken back to the times of Sinatra. This place has ambiance and the cocktails are crisp and smooth. The food is superior bar fare, and the service will keep me coming back, a def must go to in the Johns Creek area

Stopped in here Saturday night for dinner at the bar and had the blue plate special, ribs, slaw and crinkle fries. Every bit of it was awesome. The slaw is made in-house and you can tell, it was the best I’ve had in a long time. I actually started with the slaw instead of the ribs, LOL. The ribs were also really good. Bartenders were friendly, the Stella was ice cold and they were playing some deep cut rock and roll. What’s not to like. Oh, yeah and the acoustic trio that started up while I was there was pretty good too. Rock on Pub House, I’ll be back soon.

Great beer selection, attentive and polite wait staff, good location, nice décor. They have a speakeasy room coming soon for those looking for a more exclusive experience. I had the BLT and it was flavorful but I didn’t care for the crinkle cut fries that accompanied it. I also ordered the spinach artichoke dip which had good flavor but the crackers to dip in it were underwhelming. This is a good place to grab some drinks while waiting on a movie or to enjoy the outside weather and people watch.

I had high hopes for this pub, but just like the 3 – 4 restaurants that have occupied this space before Pub House, I don’t see this place staying open for long. Upon walking in, it seems like a nice place. On a Friday night, there was a chalkboard sign that said, «Welcome! Please seat yourselves.» Hmm, how does that work? Do they keep an eye on you? I didn’t see any wait staff, but I did see that the bar was busy. Since it was nice weather out, my boyfriend and I walked to the patio to find a seat. We sat down and after maybe about 5 – 10 minutes without service, we decided we should probably go inside to the bar to get our drinks ourselves. Slim pickins on the beer available. They basically serve the usual beer suspects, although they do have some kind of house brew. I wasn’t a fan, so I went with Stella on draft. We were able to start a tab, even though it probably wasn’t necessary. We took our beers and went out to the patio again. After about 15 – 20 minutes of enjoying the weather, I thought I could hear rain or some kind of water trickling from the pipe near the side of the building. Yea… something was not right. The sky was clear so it’s not weather, but it might’ve been the AC units on top of the building leaking water. I eventually did get splashed so we moved. My boyfriend and I got up to leave shortly after finishing our beers. We closed our tab and I notified the waitress of the leaking issue. I don’t really want to give this place such a low rating especially since I didn’t eat here, but to recap, this is why I’m giving it 1 star: — No service/greeting coming in — Poor beer selection — Lack of service throughout the entire experience — No pun intended, but the water put a damper on the patio experience.

It’s rather disconcerting that a new establishment with prominent signage at a busy intersection(Medlock Bridge and State Bridge) would be so eerily empty on a Saturday evening. I’m always excited when new bars and restaurants open nearby(the Pub House had been in business for about a month at the time of this review). What kinds of new and creative culinary creations will they contribute to the Metro-ATL scene? Oh… burgers, chicken tenders, and fish sandwiches. How, uhm, original. Ok, so you’re gonna provide an impressive selection of cool microbrews then, right? Nope, just your standard macro-brews… you like Bud Light, right? Yeah, it didn’t take long for my excitement to fade away. I ordered their«house beer», which was supposed to be a creamy ale. It was the only beer that looked remotely interesting. Instead I got what looked and tasted exactly like Budweiser. Surely this was a mistake? When I asked the waitress, she insisted that it was the house beer. Strange, seeing as the bubbles from the highly carbonated beer emerged from the bottom of the glass. Definitely not an ale. If it was their house beer, they had done very little to separate it from the other swill that they were serving. We ordered the spinach-artichoke dip. While the dip was a’ight, the flatbread that it was served with was peculiar… hard and stale with various seeds(like poppy and cumin). *Sigh* The four or so waiters and waitresses had very little to do(seeing as we were one of three different couples in the entire joint at the time). They just huddled into their little waiter’s station and goofed off. The bartender(who may have also been the manager by the way he talked to the wait staff) looked sloppy and aloof. Though the bar itself looked pretty good with nice seating and typical pub décor, everything else failed to impress. I would be surprised if the Pub House was in business this time next year.
