As a pescatarian looking for an option out of town, the name caught us. So glad it did as we enjoyed the best falafels we’ve ever eaten! The owner said they soak their own beans and use fresh local ingredients and it shows. My daughter and I ordered the falafel wrap, one with basic hummus and one with spicy red pepper hummus as our sides. Both were scrumptious. We also shared a full order of Greek fries which were sliced fried potatoes with tomatoes, feta cheese, and spices. These fries were amazing!!! To go boxes were needed as we were only able to eat half of our meal. I only wish I lived closer because I would defiantly be a regular. Only suggestion would be to offer a non deep fried vegetarian protein. Possibly paneer(non-vegan) or tofu but I’m not complaining. Great food, great job HOH. Best of luck to you. Their deserts looked delicious as well.

Spend your lunch time elsewhere. They don’t have enough employees. The food is just okay.

I had lunch here and really enjoyed the food. When you walk in you go to to the counter to order your food. The menu isn’t complicated — gyros, chicken shwarma, hummus, etc. My table ordered a pita gyro with the cucumber and tomato salad, a chicken shwarma wheat wrap with super of hummus, and the kids chicken tenders with a wide of hummus. The kids tenders were grilled and not breaded, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere is basic, but not in a bad way. There is a lot of seating, but it isn’t cramped. They have a coke machine as well as tea 3 ways(sweet, unsweet, and Lebanese). The bathroom was very clean.

Amazing!!! I got the falafel with spicy hummus and was one of the best I have had here in Atlanta. I also got the eggplant side dish and that was amazing. We wanted to try the Greek fries but they were all out. :(but I’ll be back to try those! They sounded so tasty. For dessert we had both the walnut and pistachio pastry the walnut one was better but the pistachio one was really good too! I loved this place. Definitely coming back. Oh and the people at the cashier were super nice.

Well. This place is fantastic. Wonderful Lunch spot. Easily the best place in the area to get a gyro. I got the gyro and fries. Everything was perfectly fresh and well seasoned. The fries were amazing. Priced at around $ 9, Its well worth it. 5 stars.

Excellent food, great price. Fast casual ordering set up. Chose pita, platter, or salad, then proteins and sides. Quick service. I had the chicken shawarma pita, it was delicious. We will be coming back.

Yes ma’am(sir, or other:-) All inclusive for sure! One of my co-workers turned me onto House of Hummus and I am soo delighted she did. Both of us love Mediterranean foods but this spot is sooo FRESH tasting and the food is cooked almost in the open where you can witness the prep. The owner/mgr is very humble and appreciative of her patrons you can tell. Its a simple menu with some of the most flavorful items. The lettuce, very green, the rice is amazing, the chicken and lamb pop with taste! I not only cleaned my plate, I also observed other customer interactions and smiles. The pricing and portions are very reasonable!(I took the liberty of reading others reviews also and noticed timing mentioned, well my thought is there seems to only be 3 people working diligently so I was patient to get the results. When its crowded they do hustle so remember foods are cooked to order and specification of requests.)* This is a small quaint establishment with the same feel some larger ones offer with more of a personal touch I’d say. I will return and recommend, in fact I already recommended House of Hummus to a client at work! ***Try the Lebanese iced tea… OMG good!

This is an average Mediterranean place where you can stop by if you are craving for similar food. My wife finds it just above average, and I couldn’t find a reason go back there again.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times. The food is consistently terrific and the staff is always very nice and helpful. I usually get the Chicken Shawarama salad with the cucumber/tomato salad on the side, then I put the cucumber/tomato salad on top of the chicken salad. It’s very good and flavorful.

Great little local gem of a restaurant! Great simple concept. Chose 1, 2&3, 1) chose how you want it(salad, sandwich or platter, 2)/chose a protein and 3) pick your sides. Simple, and the food was really good(I’ve had better, but this is still really good) with great reasonable prices to match. Fries are crunchy excellent too. Love the little local places and supporting them too.

PERFECTFORSMALLAPPETITES House of Hummus is located on North Point Parkway across from the Chuck E Cheese intersection where Marko’s Pasta was once located. It is very casual and the perfect place to grab lunch or a snack. I simply prefer something a bit more substantial and less casual for dinner. We actually went in for dinner and while the food was delicious, it was not very filling. Luckily, we were able to get something more substantial from the restaurant next door. Regarding the food, you basically have a choice of a salad, wrap or platter with the protein and side of your choice. I chose the gyro with a cucumber and tomato salad and both items were flavorful and perfectly(lightly), seasoned. They have a variety of other items available a la carte but we weren’t sure about the standard portion sizes so we wanted to just keep it simple at first. My husband had the platter which was gyro protein, tomato and cucumber salad with rice. He requested and received warm bread at no additional cost. Although my husband enjoyed his food, it just was not enough to satisfy him. The last Mediterranean platters we ordered came with a mix of proteins, hummus, falafel, rice, warm pita and salad. The variety and amount of food was great! I simply wish this restaurant had more varied platters so that we could have tried a nice sampling of their food. We were tempted to order more but realized that they were closing at 8pm,(on a Friday night). We hurried to leave because it is awkward sitting in a restaurant while employees are actively closing. The staff was very nice and told us that we could stay but since we were still hungry, we needed to find another restaurant. For some reason, I was under the impression that they were open until 9pm. Oh well, now I know that they are open from 11am-8pm, Mon-Sat. We really enjoyed the food and will probably return for lunch.

There are several tasty Mediterranean spots I’ve stumbled across the past few weeks and this one is added to the list! Not only is the staff very friendly and patient(I usually stand there for minutes on end trying to narrow down all I want), but the food has been consistently delicious! I’ve had their gyros platter, enjoyed lots of hummus and neither disappoint. Plus, it’s extremely reasonable so I never feel guilty afterwards! Great lunchtime spot!

My husband and I came here for late lunch. It is located right near the Northpoint Mall. Decent plaza, good parking. Inside is ordinary. The menu is simple. My husband ordered the gyro platter and I got chicken shwarma wrap with fries. The food was nothing special. Gyro meat were not fresh. I’ve had better shwarma wrap. I came with high expectations because of great Unilocal rating but I was disappointed and not impressed with my food. Jerusalem Bakery is way better– food is a lot more delicious and meat is fresh. By the way everything is halal except the gyro.

Great spot for a quick bite to eat, food is always good and service is great. The employees are always very nice. I have been 3 times now and tried different menu items each time, and I will continue to go back. Chicken Shawarama wrap was amazing

Good Mediterranean food with simple concept: pick a protein, pick a plate type. The cashier taking our orders steered everyone toward the chicken shawarma saying it’s the most popular. So I got the chicken shawarma over salad with cucumber and tomato as the side(which I just poured on top). The food was good — chicken was still moist, veggies were fresh, seasoning was appropriate — and it arrived fast. There’s not much ambiance to the place, but with tasty, affordable food served quickly, I can see why the place got busy at noon.

I have been to House of Hummus at least 10+ times. Each time I have gone, I have received amazing customer service. When I think of hospitality, this is what I imagine to be the perfect business to model that concept. Literally, every single time I visit, I walk away wanting to pay them more. Crazy, I know. But that is how great they are. My last review, I only gave them two stars, because despite their great service and clean facility, the chicken shawarma was lacking. The business reached out to me and apologized and asked me to return(which I was going to do anyway because they have definitely earned another chance). When I went, Samar(she is the cheerful lady at the front who is always working– I just learned her name today) was so accommodating and even comped my meal. She also took the time to stop and explain what could have been the issue with my chicken the last time I visited and explained what steps they were taking to rectify the situation(all this during a busy lunch rush). I would have been more than happy to pay for the amazing meal I received, but she comped my shawarma without even asking. I got it to go and the lentil rice was still piping hot and fresh when I sat down to eat it at my desk 20 minutes later. Chicken was on point. Hummus was creamy and delicious. Greek fries were soggy by the time I got to them, but they still somehow managed to be delicious. All is right with the world again. While I was waiting for my food to be prepared, I noticed that Samar literally greets every person that orders. She recognizes regulars and goes beyond to get to know them and their families. She remembers her customers– no wonder they keep coming back. Thank you for your amazing commitment to fresh, quality food at a reasonable price and going beyond to ensure the satisfaction of your customers! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Some photos are below to prove my recent visit.
