First Experience: I live in south Florida and am visiting family. Drove 20 minutes to come shop around and it is 11:20am, all doors are closed and locked with no sign of anybody. I called the number listed for the business and no answer, and the mailbox is completely full to even attempt to leave a voicemail. No note on door letting customers know or anything. They open at 11am.

While I have had a number of good experiences at this shop, my last was laughably unprofessional. They had a MTG tournament on their calendar for 12pm — 6pm on a Sunday. I got there around 11:50 and saw that they didn’t normally open till 1pm on Sundays. Me and the others who showed up went to a nearby restaurant and waited for an hour for the shop to open. At 1:12, I was tired of waiting and left.

This is a quaint little mom and pop cards, games, and comic shop reminiscent of the ones you see in movies where people just hang around and chat. They have a good selection of tabletop games and magic cards. There is a great selection of open games that you can drop in and play for free. The owners are very pleasant and don’t put pressure on you to buy. Definitely recommend.

I noticed FCB Comics & Games on Unilocal and make a note of it to visit here on the annual nation-wide, been-going-on-for-over-ten-years«Free Comic Book Day» in early May… except when I arrived at FCB Comics & Games, it turns out that they were not participating in the Free Comic Book Day promotion.(and here I thought FCB meant Free Comic Book but I found out … No free for you!) I live in the area and get comics through a mail-order service but occasionally need a store for some missed chapters/issues but I was not too impressed with the comics scene at FCB. Actually it «seems» like comic books are kind of an afterthought here, with«gaming» and«baseball cards» being the main items stocked. There is actually a large«gaming» area with some impressive dioramas(«whatever they’re for»).I did not even realize people played«Magic» anymore. I think this part of metro Atlanta could use a well-run comic book shop but FCB Comics & Games does not appear to be it for me.

This is my go to shop for playing M: TG and other board games. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, whether dealing with sports memorabilia, comics, games, etc. A very solid group of friendly regulars is a plus. Tuesday night Magic drafts always have a solid turnout, I can usually get in at least two drafts myself. Overall a great shop.

Hello fellow comic and card nerds. Have you been looking for a place to call Utopia(before AvX)? Are you wanting to play card games til all hours of the night while pounding soder(hehehe) pop? Well check out FCB cards and games. The gentleman there are well knowledged and always friendly. They have a growing comic book and collectibles collection and a plethora of gaming accessories. I’d strongly encourage this shop as your local comic shop if you live in the Roswell area. Pat, Chris, Ash, Javy and the rest are good hearted folks who care about nerd needs. They order it if you can’t find it and will talk to you for hours about what’s happening in comics while you’re girlfriends waits impatiently in the car, wink wink. A great shop and cool people, what more can you ask for in a comic shop, besides girls. I endorse them and so should you. Also the guys at the Lawn Mower repair shop in that plaza are douchebags. The shop has come a long way in the past year. They’ve expanded into a larger space, streamlined running events and have increased their selection of items. The staff is always helpful and very easy to get along with. The Draft & draft nights are always a blast and the atmosphere is always welcoming.
