Under new management! Fresh paint and relaxing environment made my mani/​pedi a delightful experience!

I went today for a mani/​pedi and it was the worst I have ever had. She barely cut the cuticles on my hands and my toes are awful.

I needed a day of relaxation and I went in for just a pedicure but ended up with a manicure and a neck massage. The ladies were intuitive and I did not mind the up sale because I really needed it. The price for the mani-​pedi was a bit on the high side but worth it in the end. I was completely relaxed and ready to face another long week at work.

Mimi is amazing ! Fast and it lasts a long time without breaking my bank! Her team is friendly and totally professional!

I decided to try acrylics and minx nails for the first time. My nails came out great, though there were a few bubbles when the polish dried. The acrylic looked natural and I loved the salons selection for minx. I had my nails done by Mimi and she was very welcoming and funny. I am from NY and I’ve been searching for a nail place for a while. I think I found it.

This salon is great! Such nice people who will greet you with a smile and happily do whatever makes you happy. The salon is clean and quiet. I’m very particular about the nail salons I like and this one passes the test with flying colors! Give them a try. You’ll be a repeat customer if you do!

I have gone to Kevin and Mimi for 5+ years now and they are by far some of the best people in the business. They are like family to me. They are a very clean shop, they speak English, they can and will do anything you ask of them. They are incredible people and have a well oiled machine of a business. Some of the absolute best pedicures I have ever received. They always have the newest nail things out on the market. The tips I get put on last longer then any other places Ive tried them at, and MIMI is a DESIGN GENIUS! You show her a picture and she will put it on your fingers or toes. I cant say enough wonderful things about them or their shop, but it is worth your time to go and see them. Tell them Karie sent you. You’ll see.

Recently, I called up a few places to see which places does Minx nails (nail stickers that last around 2 weeks and they have a wide array of designs!) around my house. Found this place on the Minx website and I gave them a call. They had the metallic snakeskin pattern I wanted in stock. So I booked an appointment for an hour later.
Let me list the pros of this place:
#1. They speak English very well. I know, so racist coming from another yellow person (yellow on yellow crime?) but it frustrates me to no end when my nail salon professional is trying to speak to me and I have absolutely no idea what they’re saying to me.
#2. They have a good rapport with most of their customers. Most of their customers seemed to be repeat customers and they were all very friendly.
#3. Wide array of Minx designs, different nail services, and competitive pricing.
I paid around $ 50 + tip for my manicure and Minx nails ($ 10 for manicure + $ 40 for Minx designs which is very cheap for all ten of your fingers).
I think I’d go back again to get some Minx nails done for a special occasion :)
