Can we give negative stars?
Oh my, where do I start?
I got a mailer where they advertised a service where they come in and dye the grout between your tiles. We have a ton of kids so the grout was pretty murky and we had them come out.
The guy who did the service was, admittedly, friendly. He also was (later admitted by the company and others) a drug addict. Anyway, I digress.
He saw how the tile floor of the shower was cracking and offered to come in and re-​do the tile floor of the shower. He said that it would constitute laying the tile on top of the existing tile and that that would solve that. A few weeks later, a curious bulging around the baseboard of the shower and a squish-​squish within the shower stall led to me asking them if there was a problem. I got a «suit» (after weeks and weeks of phone calls) come out, slander the installer («Oh, he sucks. We got rid of him.») and promise that all would be fixed. He also promised that the stain on the ceiling under the shower was not related to this…
Fast forward multiple calls and attempts to get them to move off the dime. Calling from a different phone number, magically, I finally got a response. No, regretfully, they couldn’t help as the company had gone out of business. Yes, they were still Coastal Floors, but they were a new entity. They had bought ONLY the assets and not the liabilities of which (clearly) this was one.
So sorry…
I played with the idea of suing them but have just decided to do something more useful to humanity and just tell as many people as I can, without slandering, about the wonderful experience that I had with them.
