Expensive, poorly managed. Pump credit card readers don’t work. Paper towels always out for window cleaners. Plenty of other choices. From now on I’m going elsewhere

I do not even know why they bother with the card machines at the pump because they NEVER work. It always says go inside. And it is not just my cards… everyone I talk to has this problem here. In 2015 you should be able to purchase gas with a credit card at a gas pump… this is not 1990. Get with the program. Every other gas station has. If I could give it zero stars I would.

I hate to leave bad reviews… but I hate being treated like incorrectly…
This place is on the way to work. I figure good, I can stop going out of my way to citgo in the mornings, HA… Boy was I wrong.
I went in to grab a bottle of water. I had 2 dollars in cash and not much more than that in the bank. I get the bottle of water, and take it to the register. The man scans it and stares at me. I looked at him and he looked down. I looked at him again and asked what the total was… he goes «Can you read?» I said «yes…last time i checked.»
He very exasperatedly points to a mini post it note sized piece of paper stating that only purchases of $ 3.00 or more will be able to use a card. I replied… with alrighty then, well what is the total?, naturally more then the cash I have on me and by that time I’m irritated by his rudeness.
I say well, thank you anyway, take the bottle of water (because I took it out of the cooler… silly me i was going to put it back) he yells something at the woman restocking shelves and she rushes over to me telling me I didn’t pay for that and its stealing (mind you im NO WHERE near the door) I stated I was putting it back where i got it from… not stealing… put it back to the cooler and told them both to have a nice day…

This is one of the original Chevrons in the Alpharetta area, tucked away at the corner of a busy high school (avoid when school gets out!).
I use this place solely for convenience, as it has some of the highest gas prices in Alpharetta.
I usually buy drinks and snacks here if need be, and maybe a touch up car wash (if the car needs it). Decent selection of beer and energy drinks. They even have hot dogs and slushies, not something I a lot at Chevrons.
This is NOT a 24HR station, so also keep that in mind…
The staff is friendly as always (a plus!).
