My family & I made reservations for 5pm but arrived early, 4:30, for dinner. Hostess tried to seat us in the first four top booth in the bar area; no thank you! Entire restaurant was empty. Greeted by new waitress Eliza; she was pleasant; one of the only good things about our visit. Ordered appetizers(3 crab cakes; to spicy for my taste; 3 shells). Husband’s fish and chips were good not great. Son’s hamburger and fries were good. Other son’s filet with Oscar on top was OK. Couldn’t even tell Oscar was ordered; only three small pieces of crab. My grilled scallops and shrimp were SOOVERCOOKED; burnt in fact. So Disappointing. Steamed broccoli was the only thing great other than our sweet waitress. PSA — Do not go to Bonefish Grill until it’s busy; that’s when the real cooks come to work.

I have been going to this place since I moved to my house in 2012. Let me say this, this place has great food and most great servers. So, you see my review and start wondering why not a 5 star. Unfortunately, there is a bit of lack of consistency. Most days things are good, but so now and then I have encountered some issues, for example: food taking very long, the drink tastes weird or does not feel to have any alcohol, one item is missing in the plate, and other little things. Although, I still feel this place is good for a meal and the environment is fun. But, I go prepared and with enough time to spare.

Do NOT go here for your birthday! It was a major disappointment! We made reservations and went with another couple on my birthday. The waiter had absolutely no personality and he was awful! We didn’t get drink refills, had to wait a long time for our dinner and the food was fair. We told him it was my birthday and he did absolutely nothing for me. We didn’t say anything at the time, but my husband knew I was upset when we got home. So, he called and talked to the manager. The manager apologized and said he would send us a gift certificate. It has been 6 weeks and we still have not received the gift certificate. I would not recommend this restaurant!!!

Went with great expectations … and walked away with AVERAGE food and service. The shrimp appetizer was the best as I remembered it from the last meal I had here. My wife had grilled fish and it was just tasteless and dry, when we brought it to the attention of the manager they quickly took it off the bill. Only problem is, the bill was still over $ 60 with tip. One appetizer, one beer, one mixed drink, water and one meal…

Mother’s Day Misery– A tradition for the past 6 years has ended. Due to a total disaster with their reservation situation and finding out at 2:40(for a 2:00 reservation.) there were 8 tables in front of us, we left. We also experienced one of the hostesses crying, people coming to the hostess desk because they couldn’t locate their waiter to pay their bill, a family leaving at 2:45 with an elderly mom with a walker that had a 12:45 reservation & lastly no manager in site or willing to show their face.

Almost two hours and no food yet… 30 mins late on the seating with lies about wait time. After the confirmed our seating time at arrival and assured us we were on time. 20 mins to get appetizer. And so far 1 hour and 20 mins waiting on entre. Awful service… lets see what the meal is like. Food coming in 2 mins. That was 23 mins ago. Food quality and taste is great from time of order 1 Hr and 24 mins for food. Took drink glass for refil and never returned. In all fairness he did spend 20 mins drawing really cool designs on go boxes instead of being attentive to his tables. I doubt it will do any good but we will complain. Oh after food came server never came back to check on us until the very end. And at least the crab cake and lobster was not cooked all the way but at least they had 1 Hr 45 to cook it

Ate here for the first time tonight. It was crazy busy due to it being Mother’s Day but I would still expect a place like this to be able to provide a quality experience regardless of how many customers they had. That was not the case tonight. Let me start with the food. It was good. I had the fontanella pork chop with Marsala sauce… very good. Grilled asparagus was WAY overdone. Wedge salad was ok but lacked some flavor… a bit light on the bacon and bluecheese, overly reliant on onion crisps. Oysters were ok… a bit on the small side. Mac n cheese was not good, bland. Burger was tasty. Salmon salad tasted good but my wife said she felt sick to her stomach tonight. Three of us had the corn chowder with crab and they all liked it. I tasted it and thought it was ok… just not my thing. Bang bang shrimp was also tasty. Price — everything was way overpriced for what we got. I could get the same quality of food and MUCH better service at many restaurants in the area for a much more reasonable price. Seven of us(four adults and three kids) dined for over $ 220. Service — most employees were friendly and helpful. However, the kitchen must be very poorly run because everything took entirely too long. Our server seemed to be conscientious but badly scattered as he attempted to make good for the kitchen’s problems. Still though, many basics of engaging with a table were a huge fail — silverware, beverages, bread and order details were all missed. Basically, yeah, the food was good. But for the prices we payed, the service and waiting needs to be drastically improved. We can have much better experiences elsewhere. We won’t be back to Bonefish.

Meh? A step above your other chain restaurants. The reason I’m giving a 3 star is because of the service. Unlike some other restaurants, the service gets annoying here. Our server came around every 5 minutes«to see how we’re doing». The food is mediocre, I got the fish and chips, which were too salty. My mom got some kind of fish and snow peas, which was okay. In the end, I felt like I was just annoyed by the whole experience.

Say what you want about chain restaurants, but these guys learned about, then took the time to write my grandparents a truly heartfelt letter congratulating them on their 60th anniversary(along with complimentary bang bang shrimp cards for everyone at the table). A simple«congratulations» would’ve been enough, but the letter/cards were truly something else. Props, Bonefish.

Had reservation for large group. Got there on time they did not have tables ready. Sent us outside at 50 degree weather with no heater working. Very bad service. The manager should not open balcony if he has no heaters. Horrible experience and very awkward setting.

Never got to eat. we arrived at 6:10 with movie reservations at 8:00. The host quoted 5 – 15 minutes for a table. 35 minutes later we approved the desk and was told they had a lot of reservations to accommodate. Its a busy restaurant I get it. The host should quote appropriate times for waiting. Always over quote, never under. Thanks for ruining date night Bone fish. We had to get chic fila before our movie. Had they quoted the appropriate wait time we would have known we did not have time to dine with Bonefish that evening.

Is it bad when the appetizer bread and side«mixed green salad» were the high lights of your meal? Service was ok, manager looks like John Lennon and was great at trying to fix dry fish and under cooked veg.

Order dinner to eat in, and took a salad to go. The salad was pitiful at best. Waiter lied to me about it being ready. It will be a while until we go back.

Bonefish use to be a good restaurant with consistently good service and quality food. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. We hadn’t been there in at least a year. Stopped going due to very poor service from a wait staff that let you know they didn’t like being there and mediocre food. My wife and I had an Outback(Bonefish’s parent company) gift certificate to use so decided to give them another chance. Good news, the service was significantly better. We arrived about 6:00 on Sunday evening. Since the restaurant was only about 1⁄3 full we were seated right away. Our waitress was friendly, courteous and professional. A nice change from their prior staff. Bad news, the quality of the food was not good. Maybe worse that prior experiences. I had the Cobia with Pan-Asian Sauce which was tasted good but was somewhat cold. The vegetables with it were very cold. It seemed like it had been sitting a while after it was prepared. My wife had Sea Bass which was well undercooked, still raw in the center. Clearly, a poorly organized kitchen not to be able to coordinate preparation of two dishes at a time they were not very busy. Bottom line, one step forward(service) two steps back(food quality). They just don’t seem to be able to get their act together here. That will be our last trip to Bonefish. Too many other quality choices in the area to take advantage of.

Sad to say our meals were cold and tasteless. I had the clam chowder and wedge salad. The clam chowder was not hot. The wedge salad is better at Outback, and that is not saying much. My friend got the lobster and it was cold, as was the butter served with it. I really had high hopes. The staff is very friendly, hence the 3 stars, but that was the only positive.

I have dined here before, but too long ago to rate. I perused the menu before arriving and decided to try the calamari and fish & chips. The service was good, no complaints there. The calamari is served with peppers and a «sweet spicy Asian sauce»; whatever that is. The calamari was good sans the sauce, but too much grease. Although various types of fish may used used for«fish & chips», I like and prefer cod. Malt vinegar is available by request. What I ate here was not cod, but tempura fried tilapia. Such a disappointment. My server informed me that cod was used in the past, but it was replaced with tilapia. The chips were good. The tartare sauce tasted like it was made in-house and heavy on the dill. At least the presentation was correct; the fish & chips were served on paper. On the menu, fish & chips has a star besides it denoting«Represents Bonefish Favorite»…definitely not one of my favourites. I will try the fish & chips from here again iff(if and only if) cod is used.

WOW A 3 star for me when this location used to be a 4 or 5. Why? First, I’m a Bonefish guy… This is our neighborhood bonefish. I love the atmosphere the staff and the product… For the past 4 times we’ve gone we’ve noticed a detectable decrease in the restaurants overall quality control… For example on our last visit,…4 of the 7 little candles were out,…yes I’m old Abe the bar is dark by nature,…the little candles help me order,… My wife had some shrimp and lobster soup,… When she got her dish it looked like it was the bottom of the pan,…yes we complained and the manager brought out a suitable replacement… My curiosity made me wonder why that wasn’t brought out first??? My wife and I love the bread,…always request it… but this time it was stale,…I’m a carboholic… I have pretty hi tolerances when it comes to bread but this was really,…very noticeably unpalatable… and that’s saying a lot for bread… Finally,…we’re bar eaters,… Every time we pony up to the bar it needs a wipe,…and we’ve been there when it’s crowded… when it empty and everything in between… No the staff isn’t wiping down for as a practice when new customers arrive,… It’s nasty and we have to point it out and ask for a wipe down… And yes before I posted this I sent me concerns to The bonefish Corp site,…as of this post no reply,…crickets… It’s a shame because as theme restaurants go it’s a great business model.

Sorry to say our meal was not good here this time. I had Lilly’s chicken, which has always been a favorite. The chicken was a little tough and didn’t have the yummy off the grill flavor as in the past. The garlic whipped potatoes were in a formed mound and tasted like they had been frozen and reheated. My husband had the porkchop. It was rubbery and very salty. His potatoes were the same frozen taste as mine. I’m thinking we may have visited on a bad day or at the wrong time. We will try them again but we were very disappointed this visit

Will tell you 10 minutes then 30 minutes later will say I will check on your order. Can’t handle volume so being patient is a must and if in a rush pick another venue. They only know very slow. Slow would be fast! Oh and yes of course they got the order wrong.

How is it that I’ve never reviewed Bonefish? Crazy! I’ve been here literally a dozen times! I’ll make it short and sweet. Service is always, always excellent. We’ve had a few servers that were less than friendly but they still did their job well. Bar staff is super and very attentive, get them to make you a pomegranate martini, it’s heavenly. I would say the weakest link is the hostess stand, more often than not they are not exactly welcoming. I’ve never had a bad meal here, Lilly’s chicken is superb! This past visit one of the specials was a short rib with Marsala. As I told JB, our super spectacular server, I had a very bad Marsala experience a few years ago and couldn’t eat it anymore. That sweet man brings our bread & olive oil along w/a ramekin of Marsala to help me get over my phobia. Therapy at its finest. I gingerly dipped a finger in to taste and it was GOOD. Heck, it was better than good so I ordered the special and was not disappointed. That short rib was probably the best I’ve ever had, the Marsala a perfect complement. Note to management– give JB a raise, he makes you look good!!! Bonefish gets quite busy on the weekends so go early to avoid the wait. Try the bang bang shrimp and a pomegranate martini on the beautiful patio.
