I have never had a problem with the staff here. In fact, I find them caring and helpful. As far as billing — I didn’t have a problem with that either. If you pay your copay and there is a balance — no matter how small — the insurance evidently didn’t cover that amount and it is then your responsibility to pay that amount. After all, these offices do operate on money coming in to pay their bills. They went out of their way to call my RX’s in to TWO different selections to help save me money. I do some mail order and others at Publix, to balance expenses. No problem. As far as calling to get instructions, etc. I also believe some improvement needs to be made there. I too had issues finding them when they moved. I phoned and went through the menu of the recordings to find one selection with directions and could not find one. They say there is one but I certainly couldn’t pull it up. Some improvement there could be in order. All in all — I really like this practice and certainly like Dr Bills.

Terrible billing department. I advise you to pick another provider unless you’d like to attend each visit with a printed out copy of your insurance coverage. Even then you will be billed for services that should be completely covered. You can never reach a live person through their phone service & it takes almost a week for them to call you back. Ive never gone through so much grief for a simple exam. A true disappointment.

This practice does not care about their patients. I had a 5:15 appointment today and went to the location listed online in Alpharetta and they moved across the street. So I called their office number and the answering service gave me the new address but told me they could not contact the office to let them know I’m on my way(can only page for an emergency). I arrived at 5:11 and they told me even though my appointment was at 5:15 they need to reschedule because I should have been there early for the paper work. I told them I gave updated info when I scheduled my appointment and also about the address change issue, the answering service and that I took off work early. They went back and asked the doctor and was told sorry you still need to reschedule. While they were asking I was filling out the paperwork so at this point it I told them I had almost all the paperwork done and to please ask again since it was only 5:20 and I was there at 5:11 and all the paperwork was complete. Again they asked the doctor and I was told sorry you need to reschedule. They obviously don’t care about their patients so I’m glad I found this out sooner than later. I will not be returning ever again that is for sure! I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone!

Good Doctor, AWFULSTAFF I have seen Dr. Hsia, who is perfectly adequate. However, the women who work on his staff are the rudest, most incompetent bunch I’ve ever seen, particularly when it comes to billing practices. I paid my copay and coinsurance at the time of my visit, but a month later received a bill for $ 3.18. It was such a small amount, I figured I would handle it at my next visit. Instead, I received two more bills — each sent three days apart — for the same $ 3.18. The last bill informed me that I had been«dismissed» from the practice. Not even 30 days had passed from the day I received the first bill to the third and final bill. I mailed them a check for $ 3.18. Several months later when I called to make an appointment I was told I would have to pay a $ 25.00 reinstatement fee since I’d been dismissed from the practice for $ 3.18(which I’d paid). When I balked at this and asked for a referral to another doctor, I was told they only provide referrals to current clients. Everyone I spoke to was rude and obnoxious. People, it’s $ 3.18. It probabaly cost more in resources and time to mail me those three bills. Ridiculous and rude. I would NEVER refer anyone to this practice.
