Really good value and FAST. The best, cheap breakfast sandwiches around. The donuts are hit or miss but I usually go after 11am so that could be why– they’re almost completely sold out by then.

Worst service Ever, not sure it’s under new management or what. The people working there are very rude and un professional. I would never recommend anyone to eating there.

Good breakfast food at great prices. Breakfast sandwich is a great deal at only $ 3. Minus one star for the service which messed up an order and then insisted they didn’t. Still very worth it.

This place is a hidden gem!!! Looks a little run down from the outside but inside is breakfast heaven! Seating is limited but I went on a Sunday mid-morning(one of the busiest times) and was still able to get a table. The food was delicious, absolutely delicious, I ordered a mushroom and cheese omelet and the ingredients were about as fresh as they can get. The home fries are also slamming. For two full breakfast meals and 2 cups of coffee the bill was less than $ 15 and was totally worth it. I will definitely be coming here again

Yummy food, reasonable prices — what’s not to love? I come to Twin Donuts nearly every weekend for a grab-and-go breakfast, & I have yet to be disappointed. They have a fairly extensive breakfast menu, with everything from pancakes & French toast to home fries & eggs over easy. I typically order the sausage, egg, & cheese sandwich on the asiago bagel, & although I’m fairly certain they microwave the sausage & egg, the sandwich still manages to taste good. Their donuts are also quite good & are made fresh daily. They make a variety of donuts, including Boston cream, vanilla frosted, apple spice, jelly, butternut, chocolate butternut(yum), coconut, & plain; however, if you arrive too late in the morning, the donuts are usually pretty picked over(i.e., only the plain donuts are left). In addition to donuts, they make coffee rolls, jelly sticks, muffins, eclairs, banana bread, & fruit bars. As with any good donut shop, they also serve decent coffee, which comes in a variety of flavors, including pumpkin(my personal favorite). The best part about their coffee is that if you order an iced coffee, they first add the sugar to the cup, then a little bit of hot coffee in order to dissolve the sugar before filling the cup with iced coffee. Tidbits: –There is often a line of people at Twin Donuts on Saturday & Sunday mornings, but the line usually moves quickly. –In terms of prices, I recently paid $ 13.70 for 2 egg sandwiches, 2 medium iced coffees, &1 coffee roll. –In addition to breakfast to-go, they also offer table service, but the tables fill up quickly for Saturday & Sunday breakfast/brunch. –There is no parking lot for Twin Donuts(i.e., street parking only), so parking can be a tad tricky.

The donuts are amazing! And such a good price! I haven’t had the other breakfast foods, but I’m assuming they’re also good. They make the iced coffee the right way– by melting the sugar first and not just leaving tons of granulated sugar on the bottom of the cup.

I live right down the street from Twin Donuts, and they’ve become my go-to for a quick breakfast. Despite the name, the donuts certainly aren’t the stars. They’re acceptable donuts– nothing really special. Everything else is exceptional though. The combo number two is my standard. It’s two slices of French toast, bacon, eggs and home fries. I usually don’t have the potatoes, but just because of carbs. Don’t worry, they’re delicious. The French toast is always light and fluffy. Cooked to order right then. The coffee is strong and fresh(the iced coffee and chai latte is phenomenal) and the bacon is always nice and crisp. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. They remember my name and order, put care into the food, and stay efficient even during the morning rush. I wish they were open later,(for those 10pm pancake cravings) but I will take what I can get. The only reason I took off a star is because when I go into a place called«Twin Donuts,» I expect a really good donut, and these are lackluster at best. The fruit bars and bagels are wonderful though. Definitely give these guys a shot.

Do you know Twin Do-Nuts has more than just donuts? Try their brunch to kick off the midday weekends. What I always have is a combo brunch, serving with two french toasts, two sunny-side-up(optional), ham(optional), and house potatos on the side. I enjoy eating there with street views and watching people come and go. Twin Do-Nuts makes me feel dining at home, a family business who makes all efforts on their restaurant and serves sincerly from the bottom of the heart.

Definitely would come back again. Service was fast, coffee was not too sweet and food was cheap. Came here around 11−12pm on Sunday and 95% of their donuts were gone. So definitely early for their donuts. Their french toast was better than pancakes, The breakfast sandwich was tasty and filling. Parking can be tricky, so park a block away and walk if possible.

Great coffee, homemade donuts, food and friendly service… Coffee made fresh and tasty. Parking is tricky but if you are patient it will work. Can definitely taste the homemade bakery items and the staff can answer ingredient questions.

Cheap, fast, and friendly. Best iced coffee Allston! When they prepare the iced coffee they do it in a very particular way– first the sugar, then a splash of HOT coffee followed by ice, iced coffee and cream. The hot coffee helps the ice disintegrate faster so you don’t have a pile of sugar at the bottom. I’m not sure why, but I really felt the need to document their ice coffee technique. It belongs in a museum!

This place is all kinds of good. Let’s get the price point out of the way right now, everything is cheap. The portion sizes won’t blow you out of the water, but honestly that’s a good thing. But Garrett, how was it??? Delicious my imaginary audience, deliciousness incarnate. The pancakes are thick and fluffy, the sausage spiced to perfection, the eggs cooked perfectly, and the home fries savory without being too greasy. I’ve even gotten a pastry here and enjoyed it well beyond the price point. All in all this place may not be the best breakfast in Allston, but it’s a great value, the service is friendly, and the food never feels like a compromise.

First visit. Bavarian Cream was delectable. I wore a black shirt and the white powder got all over it. But that’s on me. #getit?! #worstjokeever My iced coffee was also nice(It’s 80 F****** degrees!). Unfortunately, my twisted cruller was stale. And the parking situation is not good. One woman had to interrupt a gentleman eating his egg+cheese sandwich to move his car because her Zip go-kart was boxed in. D’oh! I’d go back though. Pancakes looked good.

New pricing! New look! This isn’t exactly on my way to work, but since when does that matter when chasing doughnuts. Twin is everything I love about a small family owned donut shop. It’s no corporate, mundane chain **cough, Dunkin, cough** and as you can see from the storefront is has it’s own unique character. The sign is as iconic in Allston as Randy’s huge donut is in LA. And obviously the donuts are freaking great. Classic flavors: glazed, chocolate glazed, chocolate frosted, lemon, jelly, powered, sugar raised, old fashioned. Can’t ever go wrong with the fluffy yeast donuts and traditional cake pairings. And for $ 8 for a dozen, it’s hard not to make everyday a donut day.

I passed this shop numerous times and finally decided to stop in one Sunday. I was hoping for the very least something slightly better than Dunkin’ Donuts. It turns out coming in at noon on a Sunday is a bad idea because it was full of hipsters and there weren’t that many donuts left. I ended up getting a the last powdered doughnut and it was shockingly good. It tasted exactly like fried dough, which my boyfriend told me is «probably what it should taste like considering that’s what it is…» I only have this donut to go on because I didn’t order anything else they were really crowded and their breakfast some solids just looked like diner breakfast but it was one of the best donuts I’ve had in years. Definitely check this place out. If you can go on a weekday I highly recommend it will be more donuts available and it will be a lot less crowded.

Amazing, filling donuts that are cheaper than the one at Dunkin Donuts next door. One of these donuts will fill you up for the day. But be sure to get there early because they do run out! Fresh and tasty breakfast sandwiches which are all under 4 dollars and made very, very quickly and taste much better than sandwiches at other comparable breakfast joints. Small on the inside, but don’t let that deter you from going in! Get this place’s food!

When they’re in season, their Apple Cider(or Apple Spice) doughnuts are to die for, but they usually sell out so get your butt down there early. The Boston Cremes are also friggen good, like what a Boston Crème from Dunkie’s would taste like if it wasn’t mass produced in a giant factory designed to enslave the people of New England. They also serve breakfast inside, and when I was there on a Saturday around 11am it seemed hard to get a table, but from what I saw rubbernecking people’s food while waiting in line, it looked like standard tasty eggs ‘n bacon fare. They also have Redbull available near the registers, y’know, just in case you want to get a dozen Apple Cider doughnuts and 6 Redbulls all for yourself and never be heard from again.

Great, yummy donuts!!! One donut is 85 cents ish(could be wrong about this number but I do remember it was less than a dollar). Went with Sarah, visiting from Ithaca where there are no donuts, and we shared a honey dipped donut and a vanilla frosted donut. They were chewy and just the right amount of sweet. I’ll be going back to try more types of donuts! There’s ample sitting area inside and to borrow my friend’s words, it feels like a baahston diner.

I know I said I didn’t get it… BUT I GETIT. I’m a changed woman. I came in early on a weekday morning and got a honey glazed donut. and it was SO good. Like, the perfect donut. And I like their iced coffee.
