High prices and many items are not even priced. I could not find prices on either the bottles themselves or on the shelves. Would definitely recommend going elsewhere. Blanchard’s has better prices and a more spacious layout.

The staff here is genuine & make sure you get what you’re looking for. They have fair prices for a place in Brighton. They had low prices in the summer on a large selection of 12 packs. Having redemption center in the back of the store I’d convenient; machines take a large variety of different brands. The only tricky part about this place is the parking if you drive there. Many cars end up double parking on cars at meters. In this case do a 2 person beer run just in case the car needs to be moved. Cheers to a preferred Spirits Store

The highlight of this place is the staff. Super nice, very helpful, never creepy. Liquor stores are often staffed by folks you want to run away from or folks you never would want to hang out with, but the staff at Comm Ave are chill and fun to chat with.
Solid selection, not the best, but it has gotten A LOT better since their first weeks after opening.
Personally, my favorite is the 12 packs of various beer samplers they have all around the store. Never a bad choice with those.

I stopped in here not too long ago only because I was short on time and it’s nearby and WOW… what a difference. They are under new management and this place has completely turned around to become one of the best stores in the area. The store has variety, good service… great service actually, and they’re well-​stocked. The floor layout has been redesigned to allow for more product too. Still a little pricey compared to some other local stores, but with the recent improvents, I actually WANT to stop in from time to time just to see what they have.

I made a quick run to the store to purchase a bottle of wine and tequila while visiting a friend that lives in the area. I was rather disappointed with the prices, selections, and service attitude at Comm Ave Wine & Spirits. It’s worth noting that on my visit I was the ONLY customer in the store as many venture to nearby Blanchard’s for a larger selection. Clerks on duty were not helpful simply pointed me towards what I was looking for rather than directing me and was not able to offer recommendations (not that I’d give consideration their input). Upon checking out, other clerk was eating at the counter in the presence of customers while on duty. Outrageous. Overall a dumpy store in a not so great area.

This store is clean, and well organized. The people that work there are very nice and helpful, they of course do not know everything about every single wine they sell but who really does?
I like going in because they have a nice variety and are always very welcoming. I’d recommend it!

This place isn’t the old Marty’s, and their selection is a bit sparse in comparison. I am into obscure beers with hard to pronounce names, and well, they just aren’t here. But what they lack in stock, they make up in convenience and customer service. I had been searching high and low for a particular wine that no liquor store carried or would order. I tried Blanchards, Brookline Liquor Mart, and a few others with no luck. After speaking with the manager or Comm Ave Wine and Spirits, he ordered it for me, without a hitch or hiccup. Now I am sipping on this hard to find grape juice and I am nothing but appreciative that they went the extra mile to make a customer happy. Ill be back.
