Lee retired. New person is blind, can’t get stains out and charges more. Will not use again.

This place is pretty sweet. $ 1.50 for men’s dress shirts. I also had two shirts sewn for $ 5 total. It’s looks a little funky from the outside because it’s hours say some like like 8am-10pm and it always looks closed. Simply knock on the door and this lady named Li will open the door for you. She’s very friendly and does a good job. Overall, this place is inexpensive and I’m a fan.

I live right around the corner from this place, and I hate doing my own laundry. So wash dry and fold all of my clothes for 19 bucks? any day. she also matched all of my socks. she told me to pick up at 3 o clock, and my laundry wasnt done til about quarter after. not a big deal, but i had to be to work at 4 and the T would have made me late. her husband offered me a ride to work. they also wouldnt accept my tip. also, it may seem like shes yelling at you, but she just doesnt speak english very well. at all. but she is very sweet.

I just wanted to do my laundry. But she took it upon herself to do it for me. Well, that sounds pretty good, why the dismal lack of stars? I had to wait forever for her to finish(like another reviewer, she told me to come at a certain time to pick my laundry up, but it still wasn’t done then), when I could have just done it myself, if she’d let me. Plus, I asked her not to put my bras in the dryer because it warps their form, and she said she wouldn’t, but she did anyway. It’s not just that she didn’t have it done when she said she would. It’s also the fact that she padlocks the door and disappears somewhere downstairs so that you can’t even go inside to get your laundry. I guess the nominal price tag is cheap(I think it was like $ 3 to use the washer and dryer), but it’s not worth the waste of time.

honestly, I went here only because I heard such raving reviews on Unilocal. However, this was the most irritating and unprofessional laundry service EVER. I brought my laundry on a Sunday, was told it would be ready by wednesday. I went back wednesday, lights off chain over the door, no one home. I called but the number was disconnected. I went back thursday morning at 9(as the sign reads open sun-sat 9am-10pm) waited for 25 minutes and no one showed up. Still closed. I went back thursday afternoon and she was there. «I’m not finished, please come back tomorrow» Ok fair enough, maybe you’re busy. I’ll be back tomorrow at 6pm ok? «yup» I get a phone call friday, «I’m not leaving now, please come back tomorrow afternoon. OK. getting annoying now, but I comply That afternoon I drive there, and the place is shut. Chain on door lights out. So I call her, «oh sorry I said to come back this afternoon» «It is the afternoon its 430.» «i’m busy now, come back at 10:30pm tonight» Which is ridiculous for someone who has anything to do besides picking up their laundry. I said, «what time are you open?» «8 o clock» «ok, what time to do you close? «you come at 8 o clock» «No, you are open from WHEN to WHEN, your sign says 9am-10pm but clearly no» «So you come at 8 o clock» «FINE. Thanks.» I get a call at 8:01, «I’m leaving now, i’m very far away, can you come back at 1pm today» I currently still await my laundry. FUCK this place.

I was a little scared to go in here after the stories I’d heard. Things like«She yells at you a lot and moves your clothes and then yells at you» and«Her husband yelled at her for not holding the door for me(from a woman)» and I was just a lil sceered. The lighting is also what you would expect inside a janitor’s closet during a blackout. And there’s crap(stuff) everywhere. So I brought an experimental bag of clothes for the clean/dry/fold treatment and a single dress shirt to be dry cleaned. She asked me to dump the clothes on the scale on the floor(awesome) and then broke out a pocket calculator and did the math twice, carefully, and checked the results with a magnifying glass(seriously!). The Math: n-lbs of laundry X $.95 = your price! $ 1.50 per dress shirt My clothes came out AMAZING! My massive bag of laundry was reduced to a pitiful folded brick a quarter of the size, smelled great, and she matched my socks for me! So soft! Speaking of soft, I wore the dry-cleaned shirt today and I do not know what mysticism she is using in there, but this shirt is SO soft, SO clean… I should have my bathrobe done! She did yell at me a little to «go home!» while she finished folding and shook her head at me like I had broken her favorite mug when I asked if I should return the wire hangers she carefully hung my flannels and sleeveless dress shirts on. She did yell at me and tell me to «go home!»(again) when I forgot the pink receipt slip. But now that I have experienced Cleaning Place first hand I will be going here for all my laundry needs, and just cherish the hell out of that yell.

Mrs. Lee is the hardest working lady in show business… if show business is washing/drying/folding/clothes. She works her little(?) keyster off and is very nice. I like doing laundry, It’s like this weird gene mutation I have– but I don’t like folding or putting my laundry away. I especially do not like folding or putting my boyfriend’s laundry away(even though he is the one who irons all of my clothes. what a guy). So, here you have our living situation: I do my laundry, but as for my Mans’?- well, he sends his laundry to Mrs. Lee. I send my dry cleaning(coats, dresses & work attire) along with his sordid mess. It is the perfect situation. A big thanks to Mrs. Lee.
