Food was good not the best. I was unhappy with the $ 2 charge for substituting veggies for the pork. I was told I could substitute but I wasn’t told there would be a charge.

Let me first say, this place frightened me.
They were the first Chinese carry-out restaurant in Alliance. The food was tasty and the cost very reasonable. Many years have passed and I can no longer eat their food.
The kitchen is dirty and filled with short people who argue and fight. The soup has grease on top. The tables are ‘sticky’ and taking it home is the only way to go. It’s still a busy place but the prices no longer reflect the quantity or quality they previously provided.
My last (and I mean LAST) order was chicken lo mein. It had no flavor. If blindfolded, I wouldn’t have known what I was eating.
Negative reviews are sad and as I write, I am saddened by the loss of good food.

Totally agree with the previous review, but I’d place a bit more emphasis on the «dive» part. The open kitchen didn’t do a lot to enhance my confidence, either. Not just from the appearance, but moreso from the staff — I wasn’t sure if I had walked into serious domestic dispute or if they were just yelling to entertaining themselves.
After an awkward wait, I got the food home, wondering if I might ultimately end up with some Ritz crackers or something for dinner — and the takeout was actually ok. This is the first time I remember having moo shu where fresh ginger shreds were actually sauteed into cabbage/veggie mix, and it gave it a nice twist.

Typical dive Chinese place, the food was good and cheap. I never had any issues with the wrong order or bad food. I think it is best if no questions are asked about it though.
This location is tucked back in the shopping center and you most likely wouldnt notice it if you were not looking for it. Might not hurt to call ahead before ordering, if you order in person the plaza isnt the most exciting to wait in.
Still though, amazing lunch special options, good place for a budget.
