Weis Markets

I would BE CAREFUL OF THE (fresh meat). I have found many times the meat is still frozen, or green, or gray for sale. Deli dept uses the same glove to cut meat and cheese. Also under the deli display case where you find pita bread and rolls. Got in a week’s time pita bread. Early in the week and end of the week. Both had mold on them. Couldn’t tell until I open them. Went to return them. Customer service said that it happen a couple of times and couldn’t understand why they were still on the shelf. The exp. Date wasn’t until 2 wks later. cashiers seem to find it too hard to bag. It doesn’t depend on the size of the other. And asking to break a 20 dollar bill is just bad. They don’t know how to give change. It was much better when it was Kings. What surprises me the most is this a model store… I guess I need to go out of town to buy food

This place is A-​OK. I have been coming here for many years, since it is the closest grocery store to my parent’s home. I often still find myself running in here for odds and ends when I am home to visit. There never seem to be huge lines here and the store is always well lit and clean. My only crticism is that the items in the store are organized in a way that is not totally logical to me. Maybe it’s because I am used to visiting other stores now that I live away from my parents, but I always seem to have to hunt around for certain food items, like cereal. Overall though, a nice store with decent prices.

Consistently rated as one of the top 10 worst markets in the US, it is not hard to understand why. Terrible customer service, when there are any customers. I’ve never seen grocery workers chase away business like these folks do. But it comes from the top, the GM has the worst attitude. She is bitchy, rude, arrogant and couldn’t care less about your needs. This attitude filters down to all the assistant managers and everyone else. The only «nice» people work in the service deli and hot foods. Otherwise, just stay away. Giant and Wegmans have far nicer people and much better customer service.
