Met Tom. Busy Friday evening after Christmas at a T-Mobile kiosk in the Mall. I just needed a SIM card for a new, unlocked phone I had ordered. No dollar signs for Tom — already have an account, didn’t buy a handset from him, etc. Instead of the brush-off, Tom talked with me and started asking to see if he could find ways to save us more money. I learned that Tom is a Marine veteran. Very polite. Good vibe. Tom got us squared away. Wouldn’t let us leave until we could demonstrate the new phone I purchased from someone else was working. Thanked us for our business, and shook our hands. Tom did good. Next time I need T-Mobile help, I’ll go there, and hope to find him. If this were a Tom review, I’d give 5 stars, but as I get to know the rest of the team, note what degree of turnover is occurring, and evaluate service level, I look forward to bumping up this 4-star to the 5-star.
