Terrible highlights. They didn’t take into account that my hair is curly and needed thicker highlights. I ended up with random strands/​thin highlights that just made my hair look frizzy. I also specifically said I didn’t want brassy highlights and they were literally orange :(((. Went to a different salon out of town to get my hair fixed. I appreciate when people are just honest with their limitations and I wish when I asked if they had someone who specifically knew how to work with curly hair, they had just been honest and said no. When I left the salon, I was in tears by the time I got to my car, not to mention out $ 120 :_(

I am a new client to Studio 950. I had a great experience each time. Stephanie is awesome. My British boyfriend searched through many short hairstyles, he picked the one he liked and sat patiently while Stephanie colored and styled my hair. He picked a great cut and Stephanie recreated it for me. I looked absolutely lovely when I left. Thank you Stephanie we had fun.

i’ve been spoiled by having a stylist back in the philippines who knows exactly what i want, sometimes even when i don’t exactly know what i feel like getting done. moved to the us almost 6 years ago and i keep getting disappointed. a few weeks ago i decided to check this place out and timmy was AMAZING! not only does he put you at ease and listen to your every rant, he works fast and knows exactly what you’re going for. my husband has never heard me rave about a haircut so much! won’t be going anywhere else from now on.

I went into salon 950 today to get a color correction with Timmy and also a haircut. I came home and I feel so happy. My hair turned from brassy to a sweet blend of nice browns and dark tones. My cut is very flattering and Timmy was a joy to talk to! I also think that it is great to go to a salon that invites new clients to a 20% first time discount!

Yes, five stars. Timmy and Vicki have both done an excellent job on the requested blow dry. Timmy does a great job on my blonde color for a reasonable price. They are true professionals who have given me great and very informed tips on products.
The salon is lovely, comfortable, and well decorated. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but it it is a true pleasure of a salon.
They also offer nail and waxing services.

A beautiful Salon operated by 3 of the most beautiful people I have ever been lucky enough to meet. Vicky, Yong and Steph are not only the sweetest girls .but absolutely talented at their craft… I’ve worked in the business over 16 years… and they are by far 3 of the best stylists I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Salon 950 is not only charming… you step inside and immediately feel the positive energy there. You’ll do yourself a favor by trying them out. Tell ‘em Tom (e) sent ya!

Kelly is the only person I will let do my nails. Rather than use the conventional power-​tool method many salons have, she does it all by hand.
When putting acrylics on she uses a system that builds it on your nail over a sticker instead of gluing a little plastic tip on the nail. Not sure of the technique but it’s pretty cool.
