I was robbed by them … do not send your clothes there! They will take the clothes, sell them and never pay you!

Note: This review is an update to my original review for this business. I’d consigned about 40 pieces through Recycle Your Fashions in March 2014. While the business has done well with pricing my items to sell successfully, they have opportunities to improve getting consignment proceeds sent to their customers in a timely fashion.
After a month of diligent communication with the owner and a negative report to the Better Business Bureau, I finally received my first check for 25 – 26 of my sold items and it was what was outlined in their contract. Certainly not worth the effort, and now, 3 months after I went through the hassle and they STILL owe me money! They even had the nerve to ask me to remove my original bad review … Not a chance.
My advice to potential consignment customers would NOT to consign with these people, not unless you enjoy chasing people down to get what’s owed to you. Go with a more reputable consignment shop.

Last September of 2012 I sent Recycle Your Fashions a number of designer pieces I no longer wear. It took them TWO MONTHS to list my clothes and that was only after I complained. All of my clothes which were listed sold on their website. It is now June of 2013 (9 months later) and I still have not received the nearly $ 750 I am owed nor have they returned the clothes they did not list. I have filed a complaint with BBB and sent them numerous e-​mails which they have failed to respond to. No one picks up the phone when I call. Their website claims they «will respond in 24 hours or less.» False.
This website is NOT BBB Accredited and they have had 10 complaints within the past 12 months, most likely from people who have the same issue as I do. Their eBay reviews show a similar pattern of failing to respond to e-​mails. Save yourself the trouble and consign with reputable consignors.
Do not bother dealing with this FRAUDULENT and DECEITFUL «business».
