Company carries nice line of windows but we have recently encountered significant problems with window installations both on 21 replacement and 5 new construction windows that were met with arrogant responses. Company provided dimensions for my contractor to rough in window frames that turned out to be incorrect. Instead of admitting their mistake, the owner said that «the contractor should have taken his own measurements.» Somehow I expected that the WINDOW COMPANY would be the reliable source of measurements for window installation. Now we are expected to slice and trim moldings to accommodate the variations due to the patch job needed to fill in the extra space. First half of the job the company did pick up the tab for the installer to rebuild the window frames due to the measuring mistake, but I was left to sand, prime and paint all of the interior woodwork for 21 windows — a task that they specifically said would not need to be done (they weren’t going to touch our interior moldings). There are plenty of other good window companies out there that might be more accurate in their measurements and honest in dealing with their customers.

We live in Hellertown and have dealt with Penn Windows on a number of occasions. They installed replacement windows in several of our bedrooms, as well as our attic, and did a beautiful install of a new bay window in our living room. Though not the cheapest contractor you’re likely to deal with, their worksmanship is first rate, the equipment and vendors they feature are top-​notch, and their workers are surprisingly clean and meticulous — and unbelievably fast. I would not hesitate to recommend Penn WIndows to friends and family.
