If I had to pick one kind of pizza to eat for the rest of my life, it would be Malone’s. Consistently good and delicious. Their pizzas are legendary and freshly made daily. And their rolls are the best too.

This is a family owned bakery so it doesn’t have traditional restaurant hours. Best pizza in the area. By far. I grew up in the area and moved to Texas decades ago. Whenever I am back in the area I order at least 2 pizzas(they are very large) and take whatever I can’t eat back to Texas. Nothing better than picking up some pizzas and fresh rolls on a Saturday morning. Please support this business. It would be a shame if it ever closed.

This is an absolute Allentown landmark. Everyone who knows about Malone’s knows they are the best around for a delicious, handmade pizza. Anytime we host any kind of family event at my parents’ or grandparents’ house, we get at least one of their signature rectangular masterpiece pies, bring it back home, and reheat it when it’s ready to serve. I’ve been coming here since I could walk. My grandpa used to buy from Sam Malone, who would give me a fresh hot dog roll to munch on while they talked shop. Nowadays, Sam’s brother Ernie has taken over with his nephew Keith, but the recipe remains the same. Awesome rolls, delicious pizza, friendly service. If they could ship them directly to my house in Brooklyn, I would pay dearly. Another Allentown staple, The Brass Rail, uses their rolls exclusively.(I used to work there.)

An Allentown south-side favorite! The best pizza around either hot or cold! I bought a half-pie last night at Traub’s(now Valley Farm) and had a couple of slices for breakfast this morning! Their bakery makes the best rolls and pizza.
