Worst. Hotel. EVER. I stay in hotels weekly and this one is easily the worst I have experienced. Where do I even begin?! 1.) I had a confirmed reservation for weeks and they overbooked, leaving me without a room when my plane arrived at 1215am(this was my scheduled flight and they knew what time I was arriving). They claimed it was a «maintenance problem» but later an employee admitted they were overbooked. They tried to make me walk(it was 19 degrees) over to a truck stop roach motel next door, stating they would pay for it. A coworker let me stay with her instead and the next day, the manager Mark, was SO unprofessional. He had the worst attitude and to make up for it, they gave me 30,000 points, a bag of popcorn, random junk, and vouchers for free breakfast(like that made up for the complete chaos they caused). Mark should probably reconsider his career path, being that he can’t handle people or issues with his hotel. He was cocky and wanted to make excuses instead of being accountable for their mistake. My company spends a great deal of money there and after all the complaints from my coworkers and I, I hope they will only utilize them when absolutely necessary. Not to mention, another coworker also experienced the same thing. It was awesome dealing with nonsense for an hour late at night when we had to be up early… NOT. 2.) The rooms here scream 1990. Old. Dingy. Musty smelling. Poor water pressure and forget about hot water in the morning when there are lots of people staying at the hotel. 3.) The loud trucking company in the back will startle you a time or 5 during the night. You’re better off sleeping in a tent in the parking lot then giving this place any money/business.

Poor room condition, room stank of cigarette. Layout off room meant doors smack each other. Management kept making me wait for help.

Tried their breakfast buffet this morning on the most frigid day in 21 years — a great variety of cold foods and juices, with hot made to order entrees, including omelettes, eggs and pancakes, all for the bargain price of $ 9.95 including coffee and juice., Professional, friendly, very accommodating wait staff. Nice cosmopolitan atmosphere, beautiful table appointments and cordial service. One of the best breakfast values in the Lehigh Valley and there is free parking in the lot.

THEMANAGERJUSTINISDIRESPECTFUL, HUNGUPONMYFRIENDANDREFUSEDTOAPOLOGIZEFORHISSTAFFDOUBLECHARGINGTHEDEBITCARD. I stayed this past wknd. My friend booked it through price line so the room was completely paid for by the time we got there. The stay was very nice and the guest accommodations(Complimentary snacks were great) The next day my friend realized the hotel actually charged her even though the room was already paid for. She called and was told it would be fixed by the following day. It wasn’t. This time when my friend called back the manager Justin answered she was extremely rude, he spoke over her and yelled at her and eventually hung up on her. It was very disheartening and disrespectful.

These guys are great. Their service is the best I’ve had at an hgi and I’ve been to several.

My favorite hotel to stay in while in Bethlehem. Just recently renovated their lobby area. But the rooms are still the same. They took away the New Zealand lambs wool lined beds that allows you to adjust the firmness of the bed. That’s sad to see it gone.

I’ve stayed here weekly for about a year. This is your run-of-the-mill HGI and from what I’ve seen in the area there aren’t many places that are«nicer» than this. That being said, there are some definite pluses. All of the staff I’ve interacted with are super nice and really prompt in attending to any concerns. I’m greeted by name whenever they see me and it’s noted. The fitness center is pretty basic — couple of treadmills, an elliptical, and a multi-purpose bowflex knockoff thing. It’s occasionally annoying to wait while someone finishes up a run but I generally haven’t had issues getting in a quick workout here when needed. I’ve never used the pool facilities so can’t comment on that. As another reviewer mentioned, the rear-facing rooms are exposed to a lot of noise at night from the tractor trailer loading dock behind the hotel. Think lots of beeping as trucks back up, and general noises from loading /unloading. I sleep like a rock so this never bothers me, but I usually try to get a front-facing room anyways since they have a better view. They recently opened a bar and a full restaurant. I’ve had the restaurant once and was not too impressed. The bar’s selection is as mid-range as the rest of the place. As for décor, I think the lobby is actually quite nice, with a large conference-esque table on one side and a dining area on the other. There’s lots of modern furniture and a couple of decent spaces to read a book in relative piece, if that’s your thing. The rooms, though, don’t live up to the lobby in my opinion. They feel a bit dated and some have annoyances like no easily-accessible electrical outlets near the beds. Overall this is a fine place to stay in the area unless you want to shell out much more money for hotel bethlehem or something similar. I’ve stayed in better hotels but I’ve also stayed in worse, and the personal touches make this one 4 stars instead of 3.

We stayed at Xmas time. They were a bit off their game for Hilton property but worked at making up for it. Unfortunately pool is not heated.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when our room only cost about $ 87 after taxes & fees the weekend of the Runner’s World Half Festival and Lehigh Parents Weekend. My wife and I were definitely pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very clean… from the lobby area to the hallways to the rooms. They don’t have a complimentary breakfast here, but they do offer a pantry with food for purchase. They also put out fresh coffee, water and an occasional snack for guests to help themselves to. The coffee was pretty good. The lobby has ample seating if you are sitting down to eat or just hanging out. There is a large fireplace as well. As I said, the room was very clean and roomy. The bed was comfortable judging by the fact my wife and I barely woke up for our alarm. The hotel has an indoor pool, fitness center, business center(2 PCs &2 printers) and room service provided by the neighboring Red Robin. The majority of the parking is in close proximity to the entrance, and the hotel is conveniently located whether you are spending time in Allentown or Bethlehem. It is right off of Rte 22 which does get a bit jammed up at times.

This is a well run Hilton Garden Inn. Hotel is clean and staff professional. Only thing is have found the cooking with the cooked to order breakfast is typically marginal. Often simple eggs and bacon are overlooked but waitstaff is friendly and good service. Have held business meetings here as well and they do a nice job with meeting rooms and the food etc for business meetings.

Overall a decent property with friendly staff. Convenient to airport and a good breakfast. The one caveat(thus the three stars) is that the rear of the hotel backs up to a depot for tractor trailers. Thus, if you are on the wrong side of the hotel, you will inevitably have your good nights sleep interrupted by the sound of Diesel engines, reverse beepers, and even the occasional air horn. I’m writing this review after midnight. Make sure to specify that you want a room on the front side of the hotel and all will be well.

What differentiates Hilton Garden Inns, imo, is their business centers. This property has a good center, with plenty of supplies and easy to use equipment. The woman who arranges for the breakfast in the morning is very nice. i found the front desk to be a tiny bit chaotic — no recognition of my Hilton Honors status or offer of a free bottle of water. Difficulty processing my purchase of water and snacks from the canteen. All in all, a good place to stay.

Yes, I’m partial to Hilton Garden Inn in general, but I had to sign on for this property here to give props to the SUPER friendly staff. I’m here once every 6 weeks or so, and I’m always greeted by name and welcomed back. The waitstaff at breakfast goes out of their way to take care of you, and I have never had a need not quickly and cheerfully addressed. Definitely my recommendation of all the properties close to ABE.
