We took delivery of our stove in early June for an end of June closing. The delivery team was supposed to call me 30 minutes before showing up, but of course, they didn’t call until they were about 10 minutes away. No worries… they waited at the house until I could get there. The delivery team was pretty good… the main guy was really nice and seemed amazed that I was so apologetic about what they had to do(we were way behind schedule on the house, so they had to back their truck up into the dirt driveway and then carry the stove all the way into the house since their hand truck wouldn’t make it through the mud. The other guy was kind of grumble grumble, but hey, no one said being a delivery guy was an easy job. Our piece is perfect. Despite some confusion on how to install the grates(not as easy as it sounds) and figuring out how to change it from Centrigrade to Fahrenheit(not difficult once I got out the book), it’s been worry free. The stove functions above and beyond as described to us when picking it out of a catalog. Hopefully we will not need to buy another appliance for a decade, but we’ll definitely be back to Allentown Appliance!

This is the spot for high end appliances. Joe, the owner, works hard to make people happy. He has helped us outfit four kitchens and we’re still coming back. Fair prices and fabulous service on Thermador, Viking and Sub-Zero. He’s got lower end stuff, too, but to be honest, I never looked at it.
