I love this place. They have an awesome selection, and like they advertise, no gimmicks, etc… for pricing. You pay whatever the price is. Those buy one get one free places end up costing more in my experience. Also, they are very friendly and helpful. And, they pack your fireworks in Dog Food bags to help keep you safe from prying eyes. Definitely check it out. Just spent $ 200 there about a month back.

What appears to be a veritable smörgåsbord is, ultimately and upon more meticulous inspection, just a decent selection. Meanwhile, however, the prices are solid(I collected a gross of bottle-rocks for a mere three dollars, for instance); and, on a sun-drenched Independence afternoon, the store was appropriately busy, yet the clerks were efficient and I can report that no works were gummed by the pulsing patriotic demand of my fervent fellow shoppers. Oddly, though, all items are bagged in repurposed(though apparently — if olfaction is any indication — unused) dog-food bags. One complaint: there is an unexplained(and unadvertised) four-dollar Wisconsin fireworks permit required for purchase. Obviously, I don’t fault Uncle Sam for this(or do I?), but it would have been nice to have been made aware of this little excise(via some posting, or otherwise) *before* all my items had been scanned, bagged, and awaiting payment. Indeed: it wasn’t even clear if was a county– or state-based licensing.
