I stopped eating here but return every once in a while to be disappointed again. The service is good and I have never been disappointed by the wait staff. My main complaint is the food and water. First if your going to serve water or ice to patrons, make sure you have a water filter in place so we are not subjected to the variances of seasonal tastes with Allens Water Supply System. At the most it is $ 200 installed and the filter only has to be replaced once or twice a year for approx $ 80. Not a big expense, especially if your marketing yourself as a micro-brewery that also creates soda. So the water and ice system needs to be looked at here. Second, the food seems to fall short, my last visit I ordered Pizza and I told the wait staff I could make a better pizza at home, the crust was soggy, not a lot of meat on it and the cheese was too light. The visit before that I ordered a side of onion rings and they were just soaked in deep fat frying oil, whomever was running the fryer that day didn’t let them drain properly or else dunked them in as a frozen mass without braking up the block. So both visits food related. Also, having owned and run a restaurant myself, I am overly suspicious when I walk into a dingingly lit restaurant, in most cases it means they are using the dim lighting to hide something. Not sure what yet but maybe I’ll spot it on my third visit if I muster the courage to give them another try in 18 months.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. Took my dad for a late Sunday breakfast to introduce him to honey pepper bacon. Food and service were as good as always.

As I long time diner of Two Rows I was really disappointed this past visit, enough that I may not return. The food was good and the service(once we were finally seated) was good, but the smell of the restaurant was awful. From the moment we walked through the front door into the lobby, we could smell the disgusting smoke of the bar immediately. The bar is a separate room, but has a door directly to the lobby and another to the dining area. It was not crowded — it was early for dinnertime and only 3 tables were being used in the place, but the smoke lingered. Even from our table, mid way in the restaurant, when any of the wait staff opened the bar door, we got a blast of stench… enough to curb a non-smoker’s appetite. This place has great food and a decent staff, but in my opinion needs to focus on their restaurant atmosphere, update their air filtration system, and make the place more bright and less dark and gloomy.

Had my first ever in my life Chicken Fried Steak. I am 37 and never eaten that! Had Okra and Mashed potatoes with my meal. It tasted home cooked and was excellent. The steak was so good I dont get why I have been missing out so long. gotta try other menu items next time I am in town.

Came here a few years ago and had a terrible experience and banned the place. Came back last October because I really wanted something different and Unilocal reviewers rate this place so high. Had a wonderful experience this time. The food was delicious and I loved the halloween décor around the restaurant. The beer muffins are surprisingly amazing… I recommend these above all else.

My buddies and I came upon TwoRows by accident last week. We are all from out of town and we’re looking for a place to eat. The food was awesome and the service was some of the best I have seen in the business. We met the owner and his lovely wife who were both awesome as well! I encourage everyone to try this hidden gem. This place makes me want to come again much sooner to Texas so I can eat here again.

This location did not have the Vienna lager as advertised on the main website. So I had the honey blonde pale ale, which I was a little nervous about, but it was more bitter than honey sweet. My husband had their IPA, and it didn’t have much of a different taste than the pale ale. Nice staff, large variety in menu-from burgers, salads, wood fired pizza, pasta, and Tex-Mex to breakfast, so something to please to everyone

We used TwoRows’ catering for my son’s rehearsal dinner! Yum!!! Juli Brooks was so helpful and patient during the whole planning process. We’d add, then remove, then change options. The food was fantastic! So many people complimented on how well it was perfectly cooked. Dane, our server, was fantastic. Thank you TwoRows — you helped make our evening even more memorable!

No matter what you’re in the mood for, there’s something for everyone here: pizza, burgers, soups, enchiladas, you name it. On my visit, I got the Strawberry Fields salad. Many restaurants have their own version of this salad, but this one is more elevated than most. The mango vinaigrette dressing was pleasantly tangy and paired well with the strawberries. The portion was also just the right amount. My only real nitpick is that it was served on a square plate piled high, an odd choice for salad. I had to be careful when eating it, or greens would end up going all over the table.(I do recognize that they might’ve been out of the plates/bowl the salad is normally served on.) It also came with a honey blonde beer muffin. You can actually order a basket of muffins off the appetizer menu, so when I saw that, I knew they must be special. How many restaurants do you see charging for their bread? Let’s just say I was glad the salad came with only one muffin — they’re addictive little bastards, no doubt.

Two Rows is an excellent restaurant in Allen, Texas. For several years I have been having dinner at Two Rows. I have never been disappointed at Two Rows. Today, I took my wife there for lunch I had a bacon burger, with sweet potato fries and a root beer. All were great. My wife had a BLT. It came with a fried egg in the sandwich. She liked it a lot. Prices are fair. Service is great. Atmosphere is pleasant. I recommenf it.

Our brunch crew gets together once a month all over the DFW area and TwoRows was the meeting place for October. We had an awesome time on the patio. Food was good and service was exceptional. We have been meeting for a year and Marcus was the best waiter we’ve had in the entire year; Witty dude! Only one suggestion; order more champagne! $ 2.50 mimosas Our group killed their stash! Recommended and will come again.

First time back at a TwoRows in ten years after life took me elsewhere. It really is a shame that Two Rows is down to one location while the similar BJ’s has exploded. The food and beer at TwoRows are both superior. I came on a Saturday at around noon, and there were very few customers, but I decided to go ahead and give it a try. I sat in the bar and went with what got me there — the bacon cheddar burger and a Honey Blonde — and it was just as good as, if not better than, it was when I lived up here and frequented TwoRows. The Honey Blonde remains by far my all time favorite beer. The signature honey pepper bacon has not changed a bit and is better than ever. The vegetables were fresh and flavorful. Now for why it’s a four star and not a five. The bartender was very friendly; however, he spent a good deal of time away from the bar. My burger came with no mustard or mayonnaise and I had to hunt him down in order to get condiments. The bar area smelled like a combination of smoke and cleaners, and the place was awfully quiet. You would think that with so few customers, the staff would be more available to wait on the ones they do have. I hope that the low patronage is merely a result of the nearby construction and that there hasn’t been something to drive customers away from their one remaining location. They have always had a nice variety of food and house-brewed beers, and it doesn’t seem fair that the brand becomes extinct while a virtually identical concept prospers. Build one in Waco and I’ll keep the doors open myself!!!

A review solely for their catered sandwiches! I had the a BLT sandwich, which was not like what was described on their menu. Instead of Texas toast, there was a pretty darn dry sub roll that made for a way too much bread to filling ratio, so I ended up not eating the top part of the roll and just eating an open faced sammie: P the honey pepper bacon was the best part– peppery and sweet, and it definitely added flavor to the(otherwise, bland) sandwich which consisted of the usual tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese! The cheddar cheese was also dry and a little unappetizing so I didn’t eat those slices either… :/ Perhaps I’m being a little unfair since this was catered, and granted, I only tried one thing! But sandwiches aren’t that hard to get right, and if you can’t please my simple palate, there is room for improvement!

Two Rows has some really good daily specials. The $ 6 hamburgers on Tuesdays are especially nice. The burgers are big and tasty. My only gripe is that they seem to get a little cheap on the fries. Guys, it’s not cool to see the white plate below the fries because you’re trying to space them out to make them appear like you’re getting more. Very generous with the burger, cutting corners on the fries. There shouldn’t be a difference in portion just because it’s a daily special. Otherwise, the people are great(management and servers). Look forward to coming back weekly with the work crew.

Had lunch here today with my wife. The service was good and the food was decent. Our booth must have had a previous spill on the floor. Both of our shoes were sticky. The rest of the place looks very clean so this was a local issue. We agreed we would go back and try this place again. The pizza oven looks awesome, I want to see what the pizzas taste like.

Like Chili’s if it didn’t suck! It may be a chain, but unlike at other prevalent chains like Chili’s and Applebee’s the food is consistently great tasting. Definitely check it out if you used to be a fan of Chili’s before they really started downgrading the quality of their ingredients about 5 — 10 years ago.
