The Band Connection

Yes, the location is a little hard to find, but I’m guessing that’s how he keeps his costs low so he can pass his savings onto his customers. I say that because his fees for repairs and prices for band-​related items are extremely reasonable. Also, the repairs I needed to have done to my daughter’s clarinet were done on-​site with a one-​day turnaround. The service is personal and excellent. I had several years of previous experience with a larger, corporate type store in the area as my oldest child went through band; now I’ve found out about this place, I leave the store feeling good about the experience rather than feeling I just had my bank account ransacked. I give The Band Connection in Allen my highest recommendation.

While I agree the place is hard to find and the hours of operation are limited, the staff and workmanship are first rate. I had my Yamaha alto tuned up, cork replaced, broken neck screw replaced and checked out and they did great work at a fair price. Taking my tenor over today (after 3pm and before 6:00 pm). :-)

Horrible experience. First they were recommended by our sons middle school to get his instrument. Drove all the way to allen. Couldn’t find it denton it being behind a storage coma onus security fence. Tried for ever to get in gate so I called. Woman answered the phone. I ask can someone let me in? She told me you have to park at oil change place and walk back and go through side door. Ok so i do that. I walk up to the front door of the office and hours say 3pm-​6pm! I spoke to her at 12pm and she knew I was at front gate and didn’t say anything. Like hey btw we don’t one till 3pm. So needless to say I took my business elsewhere.
