Dara does not respond to her messages, nor does she call you back to get an appointment set up. Whatever you do don’t mention Groupon until you get an appointment? Poor customer service!

I called her twice to set up my appointment over 12 days ago. I finally got a text from her(not even a phone call?) on day 14?! She indicated she could not schedule me until June 26th over a month away?! For a manicure? Ok sure things happen. I understand. So i asked her politely if she could please let me know if she has any cancelations over the next week or two– if not could she refund my money for the amount i had prepaid to Groupon since I would use that money to get a manicure somewhere else sooner than 4 – 5 weeks out… Groupon will not give refunds beyond 3 days. Its been 2 weeks and she just texts me… saying, «Get your refund from Groupon». So at this point i am thinking, «Wow. How unprofessional.» So i let her know that if she cant fit me in anytime sooner than 5 weeks out, that she could at least refund me. I tell her that this kind of communication and lack thereof is nit acceptable and Id like a reply. No reply. So– here is my review: you reap what you sew… I hate writing bad reviews about small businesses. i really do. But in this case it was warranted! Run– the groupon is not worth it bc she is quite unprofessional not to mention she cant get clients in for 5 – 7 weeks out.

Dara is amazing! I’ve used her for my nails since last year! She is excellent with Shellac and can even do the new Nexgen nails that don’t smell bad like acrylic. She’s truly the best nail technician I’ve ever had in my life!
