I would recommend Dr. Stephens to family/​friends.
I won’t bore anyone with my back pain story — so I will summarize it by saying: I was in pain, it wasn’t going away, I didn’t want to use medication, I was having difficulty getting in to see MD/​specialist and I was desperate for relief.
Someone close to me recommended Dr. Stephens. I scheduled an appointment so that I could say I tried everything before going on medication (note: I am not against medication; I just wanted to try other options before using medication). I was greeted by a friendly receptionist, Jessica, which helped put me at ease. Soon after signing in, I met Dr. Stephens. He was professional and friendly. He also provided important patient education and answered all of my questions. I felt that he was clear that this is a 2 sided committment; he would do his part, but I was to keep up with appointments and follow through with my stretches/​exercises. The plan seemed reasonable, appropriate and evidenced based. I decided I would do as recommended — and I do not regret it! It took time and patience but the pain slowly decreased. I am not at 100% but I am getting there. It has been a HUGE lifestyle change to get to where I am.
Everyone has to chose what is best for them. This worked for me. If you aren’t sure about this option, I encourage you to do some research and/​or call their office to get more information. Living with back pain is horrible — so I am hopeful this review will help someone out there to deal with it before it gets worse :)

Dr. Stephen has created a nice community with his practice — I look forward to my adjustments because I am treated like family. He is very knowledgeable, and takes time to educate his patients. He does not hesitate to answer any questions, and it’s refreshing that he does so without a sales pitch! He has a holistic approach to wellness, and I love that he incorporates stretching and strengthening routines in his treatment plans, and it has noticeably improved my yoga practice. Highly recommended.
